Still testing. Found an AO that I like but actually, its not with the AO setting.
Also checking out the BPR Filters. Should have this thing finished by the weekend.

I’m anxiously awaiting these tutorials about the rendering in Z. Thanks for this MAH.

Soon…
Thanks super cool information here
You are very welcome. Thank you back at you!
not certain if you’ve ever seen this but i Just found it and it blew me away with stuff about sss and compositing that i never knew… thought it might help maybe with your ambient tests…
Thank you so much! So excited to give them a go!
Thnks for telling me, that is awesome to know. I had no idea. :o Would like to know what issue this was.
No problem… 3D Artist Issue 46… There is an article entitled “Concept in Zbrush” (the cover article) in which Jerad S. Merantz talks about hard surface modeling. On page 70 there is a separate red box called “Discover the MAHcut brush”. He mentions that your brushes are incredible for sculpting beveled edges at high resolution. He mentions you by name, and credits your generosity. I do as well. It is great to have the benefit of people like you while trying to learn how to use this software. You make life a lot easier!
AWESOME! Thank you.
Thanks for sharing them!!!
You’re very welcome.
Some news. Website will be down for about a week.
Good news is ALL of my shares ZBrush assets are
available in one place. You can check it all out here.
Enjoy,
~MAH~
Hi, Mah. I’m glad that your MAHCut brushes were mentioned, because I wanted to ask you:
What is the brush you used as the basis for your MAHCut brushes? Also, would you mind explaining a little about what you modified in order to create these brushes?
They are really great and useful, and I appreciate you sharing them with us - as well as everything else you’ve shared over the years. Sorry if you already answered these questions; I tried to check the thread, and didn’t see anything. I always like to understand how things work, and you have an excellent history of helping ZBrush users do just that. Cheers!
Thank you for your interest in the underlying machinations of the the brushes. Sounds like a topic for a new tutorial.
I will work on these tomorrow. Right now, I am super exhausted. Helped a buddy build a life sized Iron Man Mark III Suit for his little girls birthday party. Been at it all week. Think I have had a total of 12 hours of rest in 5 days. But, excellent idea for a tutorial, thank you. Will be posting this soon.
Looking forward to it, MAH. Thanks for your time!
Hey, Mah, hope you are doing well. Been busy lately?
Still hoping to hear about the way you made your Cut brushes, but I understand that things get in the way. Cheers!
Sorry for the delay. Couldn’t make videos without a mic!
Have me a nice Blue Yeti now so thing should start moving along again.
Thank you all for your patience.
~MAH~
Just wanted to say thanks for all the brushes and tutorials you’ve given! Hard surface modelling is probably my weakest area of sculpting and you’ve given me a boost.
Thankyou!
You are very welcome and Thank You for saying as much!
Hard Surface Modeling (I feel) is also my weakness. I am a very organic individual. The brushes I have posted were my attempt to better understand said modeling method. Some people get mechanics; Some people get organics; Some people get both and, if you do get both, I fell that you are truly a Blessed Artist/Modeler.
Ultimately, as long as I can share my knowledge with this community, I feel blessed. Sharing ANYTHING I have discovered in this community has always been my benediction! =) And I will continue to do so as I breath for Z! =b
So, thank you for your time, praise, and thank you for returning here to say how my downloadable journey has helped you to continue yours!
Makes me oh so proud to help!
Cheers,
~MAH~
