PJ’s looking good. Saw her play in London a few weeks ago.

~M~

Ya totally looks like PJ. I knew it before I read it.

Hey Etcher - fine work throughout this thread. I especially enjoy your ability to do the female busts and delicate work it takes to get that feminine look right.

captured the female form well. Who is PJ by the way? Is this some one I should know? I hope im not asking something similar to who is Michael Jackson.

Great work :+1:

Finally got around to doing a version of Batman…

I wasn’t looking at any particular Batman when I made him so he just kinda pulls from all the various versions mixed up in my brain.

Sleet: Thanks!

Twitchmonkey: Thanks! Yeah, could definitely use some softer hair.

Webhead: Thank you!

wethand: Thanks!

Etcher: Hehehe, always come back to women…

~mindrot~: Thank you! I envy you!

Prosthesis: Thanks!

sandpiper: Thank you! Maybe a little mix-up?

Aberrant: Thank you! She’s not too big in the US.

wow another great and clean model. it actually reminds me of the cg batman comic in the 90’s i think it was called Digital Justice. i think its because you made him thin and the ear shapes, both are a nice change.

Very clean, very class !
Good Job :+1:

Hey Marsyas… or should I say Etcher? grin
Great sculpt! Very clean work… as always.

That’s so you, you’ve got such style it comes out from anything you do. Beautiful Batman Marsyas.

Wonderful stuff! :+1:

Batman’s great! Beautiful job on the shapes/lines of the mask :+1: .

Thanks, guys! The clean lines are actually pretty easy using a brush I made during the Action Hero Contest. It’s similar to the Slash2 brush but pinches on one side. Here’s a description (and I attached the brush)…

[![edgepinch_brush.jpg|480x740](upload://x7QgM9uolQALzoJWBzPRE5TtAbb.jpeg)] The pinch flips sides and carves inward when you hold the 'alt' key so it's easy to refine both sides of the stroke. Also, as I mention in the image, you can simply sketch with the brush--no need for lazy mouse or anything. In fact, the lines in the image above were built up with multiple strokes.

The reference to a macro is simply to make sculpting easier–like with the Slash2 brush, the direction of your stroke controls the shape of your brush.

spaceboy412: Thanks! No doubt that was a bold step back then. Great Zoidberg, btw!

OlirO: Thank you!

Moni-Poroni: Hehe, thanks, Moni-Poroni!

maxinkuk: Thanks, maxinkuk! Glad to know I have something of a style.

Captain Sensible: Thanks!

Etcher: Thanks, Etcher!

Here’s a Jonathan Crane I had fun with. (Scarecrow)

Thanks for looking!

totally love that geoff, the shape is nice and love your choices of how much to texture, also the wrapping is just great and has weight.:+1:
only crit is that the eye buttons are not stitched in.
also i love that your retopology is just almost a simple cube still, i wouldve gone all mad making loops for the cloth and buttons. hehe.

Nice stuff here,I will watch this one :+1:

Thanks your brush !:+1:

Awesome. I love the crazy button eyes stitched mouth :+1:

beautiful work. love the scarecrow and would have never thought of doing him quite like that. very cool

Beautiful! Good to know that the hat fits so well;). And very neat modeling of the hat with Zspheres.
