i am am down as my Dad just passed away a few days ago and I am exhausted from all the round-the-clock shifts we spent at his bedside as he slowly left us.

i am sorry that I did not see this notice that two of you have kindly pointed out to me. I will apologize and promise to not post any more about this. But I truly did Miss seeing it yesterday morning. Thanks for correcting me.

I’m sorry to hear that. But don’t be too down. You’re not the only person that missed it. And at least at this point you should have R7 to play with. Qmeshing polys is a lot of fun to pass the time with until they get you sorted.

RE: My NFR issue.

The license code seems to work fine now. System was just derped up at that time.

This might be the best software on the planet. But when I order it yesterday, then have to file a help desk ticket, and I still don’t have a serial + download link, something is seriously wrong. I can order stuff from amazon and get it faster than this.

At a minimum send a trial link or I don’t know - maybe pay for the increased bandwidth that you might have needed to sell the product? It’s not hard to setup AWS to automatically increase the needs / volume of your transactions. Just a thought.

Curious, does the payment processing take a while on Pixologic’s end? I bought 4r7 the night it came out, got my key and activated it, and have been enjoying it quite a bit, however they’ve yet to pull the money from my bank.

Payment from any site can take a few days. But don’t worry… they’ll get their money. :slight_smile:

Thebest12 - I was just going to post a question about where can we discuss the specific tools in 4R7. I have got the hang of some of the new tools but the Poly Bridge is for some reason kicking my butt. Maybe some of the extremely talented senior users :smiley: can start a new thread.

I don’t know what exactly you want to know about bridgeing, but Target>TwoPolys allows to, well, bridge two polys.

When you watch the videos they get a nice smooth transition between the poly’s. I can’t seem to get the same result. I am doing something wrong but I have yet to find it in the documentation. A good example is the Zmodeler video of the dump truck when he creates the exhaust stack.

A small, dedicated staff that have always gone out of their way to be helpful when Ive had a problem, dealing with a large number of launch day support tickets. And they have to sort through all the user error and reading failures to get through to the real issues. I doubt they’re getting much sleep right now. You might consider cutting them a little slack.

Well, that didn’t take long: I knew I’d get that kind of response on here. But frankly I’ve every right to be disappointed that I’ve paid for something and it’s not arrived.

I absolutely understand what pain a release like this might cause them, but they’ve had plenty of time to prepare for it. I like electronic delivery because I (usually) get the app or plug-in almost right away - so to have to wait ten hours, or quite possibly several days now, is just really disappointing. So maybe consider cutting me some slack.

I just want to join in the fun, y’know?

You’ve got the right to be disappointed. Nobody has the right to be abusive. If you’re not the kind of person that can recognize a difficult situation for everyone involved and measure your responses like most of the great users here at ZBC have done, then there’s nothing to be done about it. It was just a suggestion.

I’m waiting on a Bridge/Keyshot situation to get straightened out, too.

Maybe Pixologic didn’t expect so many people to buy the Keyshot/Bridge bundle. Maybe the bridge activations are somehow interfering with the ZB 4R7 activations.

In the Status Update thread, some of us got all frustrated, thinking the update to ZB would take forever to be released. Well, we got it, thank you, Pixologic. :slight_smile:

Now, there’s frustration over the Bridge/Keyshot bundle delay.

All our frustration in the Status thread turned out to be for naught. I’m thinking that maybe the frustration over the Bridge/Keyshot bundle will be for naught, too – hopefully, anyhow.

Even if it does take days to get this sorted out, it’s just that. Days. At least they’re not saying “weeks.” And at least we got the upgrade to ZB.

Frustration is no fun, but stressing over something we can’t do anything about is pointless. I’m keeping the faith that Pixologic will straight this out, just as soon as they can.

Throw tomatoes and rotten fruit at me, if you like. :wink:
