Zproject is so nice, it’s very nifty to save render , lighting and material setups and whenever you made a new model , just load that Zproject and import the model.
nope, just like me they are trying to get zb4 activated … 
I know I have until Monday the 16th, but I am really starting to think something with my info is messed up and I will not be getting an email. I see a support ticket being opened up in my near future to get my upgrade. 
Any support ticket asking about upgrade status will be closed without a response. We will only start accepting those tickets on Monday. [COLOR=White]Before then we will not have the list of upgrade links from Cleverbridge and so will not be able to locate anyone’s link. It is also not fair to the people that we can help – those with activation issues, for example – to answer someone that we can’t yet help.
If you haven’t yet received your link you will not speed things up by posting a ticket before Monday. All you’ll do is slow things down for everyone.

I’m still waiting for my upgrade email. I know. It might take the whole week to send out all the emails, but it’s Friday and I’m starting to get a little worried/paranoid that I will not receive the instructions for my upgrade. Either way. Thank you Pixologic for being this kind to your users. I wish I had some Pixologic or Zbrush stickers to sport on my vehicle and laptop,

So the batches of emails have been slowed down to relieve stress on the servers. Are the emails going out continuously just in smaller batches or are they being sent at certain intervals?
djthomas imo any of scott spencer books are worth it. I have pre-ordered his ZB4 book (due next February).

Are people who are buying new licenses of ZBrush suffering the same delays, or are you getting them right away?
I am thinking of buying a second license.
New purchases process immediately. The delay that you’re experiencing is due to the fact that there are a ton of upgrade emails to go out and we couldn’t send them all at the same time without turning the activation server into a steaming pile of slag. That’s why some users like yourself are still waiting. Once you receive your upgrade link you become just like a new purchaser as far as the system is concerned. You’re just buying with a free coupon rather than buying with money.

Ok so that makes sense. What about people, like myself, who pre-ordered a copy? Is it the same deal as the upgrade emails?

My personal favorite zbrush books are Scott Spencer’s books, “Zbrush Character Creation” and “Zbrush Digital Sculpting Human Anatomy.” Both of which are listed in the zclassroom.
The first is somewhat outdated now as it covers zbrush 3.1, but it provides a good general overview of zbrush and techniques that are still quite helpful even if some of the menus/buttons have changed. The second book covers zbrush 3.5, but it focuses more on human anatomy and the character creation pipeline than it does on going over every new feature in zbrush 3.5. Though it does cover many of the new features of 3.5. Each book also has a dvd with video tutorials with commentary that go over a large portion of the tutorials covered in the book.
So now that ZB4 is installed and activated there is really no need to have 3.5r3 still kickin around right? Isn’t 3.5 now labeled as unsupported?
I would suggest keeping it at least for a little while to make sure everything is working correctly. That way you have something to fall back on if you happen to run into any major bugs/problems.
