New purchases process immediately. The delay that you’re experiencing is due to the fact that there are a ton of upgrade emails to go out and we couldn’t send them all at the same time without turning the activation server into a steaming pile of slag. That’s why some users like yourself are still waiting. Once you receive your upgrade link you become just like a new purchaser as far as the system is concerned. You’re just buying with a free coupon rather than buying with money.

I purchased zb4 on sunday/monday and I just waiting for the email. Or what does immediately mean? I have the reference-nr from cleverbridge, so payment does work. Would be nice, if I would know that is all ok and the email will arrive in the next days (or hours :slight_smile: ).

So sad, :cry: I am still “patiently” waiting for mine. I was hoping to be able to have my character rigged and semi-animated by today. Oh well! Hopefully I will have that joyous e-mail in my inbox soon! :smiley:

I bought my copy for the first time, I paid for my license on monday, and still no email, no serial, no software at all.

that’s frustrating and very disappointing.

I think people that paid for Zbrush 4 should receive it first.
Not being selfish at all.
Just people who bought it now, paid it for it NOW and not asking anything for free. So I think the users that are getting free updates should receive their update after the people that bought it now, it’s just fair since the servers can’t support so many people at same time. I’m not waiting anything for free, I paid for it.

People, don’t get me wrong though. I understand everybody is anxious. But for the people that bought it now, is even worse, because u see your money gone and no software.

Are we still able to install 3.5 after installing 4? I have a dual boot system (XP32/764) which would seem to need both activations. I’m getting a used tablet and think 3.5 would be better for it given that people are saying zB4 needs a big screen to be used effectively.

I installed 4 on my mac and versions 3.12 and 3.2 are both still there and usable.
I believe it was already stated, installing 4 shouldn’t affect your earlier versions of ZBrush.

I pre-ordered Monday (about 30 minutes before it turned from pre-order to purchase) and am a new user but still haven’t gotten an email yet, should I be worried?

Yes. They’re going out non-stop until sometime late on Sunday.

just wanted to say ty support for helping out so quickly. hey aurick are we gonna see videos for shadowbox and lightbox at any time? i tend to learn from videos more than anything else. please please!!:D:D

If your purchase was after 10:00 am on Monday (Pacific time) you will not be included in the list of upgrades. If that applies to you, a ticket can be submitted now so that we can take care of you. Otherwise, submit a ticket on Monday morning if your link does not arrive by then.

That makes sense for earlier installed versions. I’d like to know if I’ll still be able to activate 3.5 on the tablet I’m getting now that version 4 activation has begun.

Ah ok, yeah it would have been at 4:21pm pacific time. Is there a way to register for support without having a serial number? I have my cleverbridge number but I was guessing my serial number was going to be in the email I haven’t gotten yet?

Should I get a ticket for “Licensing & Activation” ?

Please give me some support, what ticket exactly should I get to get help more eficiently ? Do you need the cleverbridge reference number in the ticket message?

sorry to hear about your issue guys…till you can join the fun, im having a brill time …trying features every night whan i can and doing sketches from planes…here is tonight wip…playin gwith BPR renders to see what we can get…impressed by it…still cant figure out all the ins and out (especially teh SSS) but man, u get some really cool result in no ttime at all!
