I know it has been mentioned and I may have missed it. But can anyone who has a 64bit OS confirm if zbrush 4 is indeed 64bit app now?
No. Same as before, though decimation master is 64 bit.
Anyone know how to get the tool drawn to just go right into “edit mode” (t) when created. My 3.5r3 did it that way, but can’t remember if it was a setting?

I don’t want to read through the whole thread, but I have to ask:
Was the viewport navigation fixed? And by “fixed” I mean, made to operate like other 3D packages (Maya, Blender, Modo). It’s the main thing holding me back from buying ZBrush and I’d heard there is finally a way to configure pan / zoom / dolly in ZBrush4 but I haven’t seen official words to that effect.

Ok I am getting to the online activation screen and enter my serial number online. Then I get “There was an error emailing your activation key please try again” everytime I enter it I get the same thing. Anyone else getting this?

I also need to send out a big fat THANK YOU to Pixologic. I’m really impressed so far. just tested lightbox and I so love that widget interface. being able to do quite a few photoshop-like manipulations to an image on the fly while you paint it on your model is absolutely fantastic.
haven’t even touched any of the other new stuff yet.
next- trying to figure the sss render/shader.
Such joy at recieving the download email on the first real day of the upgrade, then the total let down as I attempt to activate and get an email error message. I feel myself sinking into the darkness of dispair.
