I’ve watched all the vids, read the features and saw all the beta stuff in the forums. I’m ready!
Anyone else having trouble loading spotlight.
When I click the spotlight button under the texture tab it appears to search for a spotlight.zsl file but no such file exists on my system.
No errors during install or activation - selected full install and defaults.
Running on Windows 7 Any help appreciated.
You can save and load spotlight files, that’ what it’s looking for. To start lightbox, go into texture menu, select a texture and hit the send to spotlight button. This will bring up spotlight.

Some nice new features, but as always in ZB, not really easy to handle.
Shadowbox could be a really nice tool with the new brushes, but some clipping brushes behaves strange (cut the whole model instead of the edge when you use it on the left side of the model ) and some other requires artistic keyboard actions to use them. (for instance the clipcurve brush: strg + shift + alt + LMB-Pen action at the same time 
).
I wonder if I will use these gimmicks frequently as there are enough other apps that produces same results with more ease.
GoZ is a real improvement and seems to work with C4d, so thanks for that.
But it also seems that it is unfortunately not much more than a quicker variation of the the old obj-import feature as it doesn’t support changes in the topology when the mesh is on more than one sub-d-level.

I had the same problem. If you keep trying you’ll eventually get it. Too many people all at once that’s all.
Just click on the button periodically until you get it.
After working with it a while, in some ways I feel like ZB 4 is really the very first true version of Zbrush. It actually finally lives up to its promise of unhinged free form creation, where I can really make anything I envision, and it seems to benefit from a good deal of polish over the last version.
Thank you for this tool, which is going to change the way I work yet again.

I know this is not Pixologic’s fault. Cleverbridge has not catered for the demand of all the eager ZBrush 4 upgraders.

Pixologic should have a service agreement with them to ensure mickey mouse server management is not used in their delivery systems. It is irresponsible for Cleverbridge not to ensure they can cope with the expected traffic of how many upgrades. It looks like Cleverbridge is not clever at all.
I hope Cleverbridge will have to pay penalty costs to Pixologic for their negligence.
I have emailed Cleverbridge customer service to fix this.
Sorry to be so disgrunted. I love ZBrush and really looking forward to trying version 4.

I got my upgrade for Mac yesterday but I also own a PC license. Still waiting on that one!
I feel you guys I have no expectation of receiving my z4 until next week sometime. that way it will be a pleasant surprise if it comes earlier.
