How did you do the connective tissue on the bones?

As you asked so nicely…

The connective tissue areas are separate sub tools…easy peesy

woohoooo…just landed another dinosaur book…

heres an amonite…

Hey Peter! Really like this last model. Do you polypaint it all? btw can I see some of these in movement somewhere on the net?

Thanks
D

Hi Cherub.

I only polypaint…ive tried other paint packages but I feel out of my comfort zone away from zbrush

Aw! no fair Pete! Wanna swap a bird book for a dino book? :stuck_out_tongue:

Love the anatomy work Peter! I can’t load your fur brushes though, is that becasue they were created in 3.5? I’m still running 3.2 on Mac.

Thanks Baz…and yup…sigh…the brushes were created in 3.5. sorry

OK no problem, it’s generous of you to share them!

…i have missed your thread!
Bravo! Colored dinos are very cute! :+1:

This is what im hoping to see in z4. I just opened one of my combined zbrush obj’s in mudbox and my mouth fell open at the real time shadows in the basic veiwport…wow.

Come on Pixo…

Realtime shadows…and even if not, at least a decent render engine to keep checking how things look… sigh, one day.

Lovely work as always Peter, how’s the pop star model’s basque going?

PS … when you saying you’re ‘doing womens innards’

PPS … DK wouldn’t want to do a shark book, would they?

Beautiful organic prehistorical models
Especially I like the last indentifinite one - beautiful body shapes and details…

Im loving the best render mode…what a joy to use…BUT…wheres my beloved lassoo tool gone?..missing it so much in transpose
steg.JPG

AND…is anyone else having issues using the cavity paint settings?..doesnt matter what I do…either negative or positive value on the slider…no cavity effect?

I think the lasso is in the brush palette now. So, much to learn, so little time  .
Really enjoy you “Best render” of the Stegosaurus. Do you plan to put him in a set?
Great work,
Gary

heres a video rotate in best render mode…

Thanks for locating the lassoo tool…bless you

OK…I submitted a ticket or two about this one…waited a week and got told to ask about this in the forum.(lazy pixo) .so here goes.

In Z$…I cant get the cavity mask function to activate or produce any effect while polypainting?. I set the negative/positive slider in any direction and nothing?..zip?..Nada?.

I go back to z3.5 (Obviously not with a Z4 model as they are not backwards compatible…thanks pixo) and the cavity mask painting works a treat.

Thought it may be a Z4 thing with a Z3.5 model but its not.

Please?..has anyone else encountered this situation?..and if you have, am I missing something really bloody obvious?.

Help if you can please.

Peter M
