Your not alone! Day before yesterday I was trying to highlight some wrinkle bumps by using cavity masking. I didn’t even come close to a mask. I tried several different settings in the cavity masking panel and it usually made matters worse . So from what you are telling me about your experience we’re scr*wed until a version upgrade. Bummer.

Hi there,
as for the cavity masking problem i came across that
http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Joseph_Drust#Using_Trim_Dynamic_to_Create_Quick_Worn_Metal
yesterday. The trim dynamic brush seems to be a temporary
solution at least. It’s worth a try methinks.
Cheerio,J.
very rough comp from a new book…
Skin is looking great and I am glad someone else has the cavity/polypaint thing. been away from Zbrush for a bit and was beginning to think I went nuts.
Thanks Zber…thought I was going mad there for a while…
And hey…you should go back to all of your old models with Z4…Ive updated my comp to real monster proportions since I started this model. I made it for 2008’s halloween comp…the one that was cancelled through apparent lack of interest??..grrr.
At the time, my machine crashed if I blinked to quickly so Im revisiting this old model and seeing where it can go…
Just sharing the WIP cover from my new book “The Gnomasutra”
