All of you have real talent!
Huge project are you doing, mate. Great, but I have I problem, i cannot download any video. I thisnk you are having troubles with your server. I hope to see soon some animations.
Regards
Victor Marin
Thank you air1 !
Well all the animations done so far don’t reflect the quality of the final product. I only have these small movies :
http://www.bklaassen.nl/video/ultra-web.mov - shader test
http://www.bklaassen.nl/video/steg_quickrigtest.mov - rig test
Thats all for now, Scenario still needs some shaving before i’m complety happy with it…only 3 weeks left before shooting, so plenty time left :o
This is an amazing project, I especially like the last t-rex render. Your bump maps are really naturalistic, did you use photo projection at all? I used some sea turtle skin photos on my dragon that I got in Hawaii and some other random lizard scales from the web. Anyways I’d be interested in hearing how you acheived your results
Just made some custom alphas and/or took scale pictures from the net, editted them in Photoshop to get good usable alphas and from there they were used in Projection Master with the art deco brush/directional brush, nothing more actually.
Thank you, it’s a work in progress of the first stage of this lizard…eventually morphing into a rancor like creature (star wars 6).
Nice monsters btw mr. monster !

Great stuff. I love the bump mapping. It could use a bit of ambient O in the rendering though. Just a thought. Keep up the awesome work.
Cheers
Thanks. I agree, during compositing i’ll output alot of seperate layers to get the best results.
And an update on the leguana, im working on it’s alter-ego :
(it’s actually the same model with the same verticesa)
Shader test :
Rig is 80% finished, still busy with the facial rig.
… while working, writing the script, making the animatic etc. i found time to model again on the iguana.
That rig looks awesome. Very fascinating work. Do people rig their Zbrush models or only models that are first created in Maya with edgeloops
Iguana is finished.

Great stuff. I love the specularity and ambient of the material. Makes it look slimy.
Thanx man !
Got bored tonight…2 more renders of the T-Rex. 1:
