updated sketchbook - still learning

@blueferret - Thanks man really appreciate your kind words and your great support on my sketchbook mate! Haha I would love that my monkes looks like the apes of “planet of the apes”

:large_orange_diamond:Here is another quick sculpting doodle, made during lunch break in college. Took me about 1 hour to finish it, was made out of a dynamesh sphere. Again had some issues with the eye area.
Looking forward to your comments and critics.:large_orange_diamond:
Cheers,

  • Kenny:)

Hey Kenny
I to love the last two sculpts, the hooded guy and the angry guy with the sword! It’s obvious from your work that you have big potential and you seem on a right way to unlock it. Good thing is that You are aware of your level, of where you are at the moment in regards to your skills and you accept critique readily. These are great things I see about you. Keep pushing and keep sculpting. Try to google anatomy references as much as you can, try checking out some of great workshops by Ryan Kingslien and guys and you will be there in no time. Google ecorche.

I’m keeping my eye at your thread. It’s amazing to see how fast you evolve!
Happy Zbrushing K!

very nice work here, great progress , I like it better without polypaint (personal preference)

Good Job my friend! Reminded me some fantasy characters from Trudi Canavan books:+1:

Thanx again for commenting on my page. I am currently downloading the Eat 3d character production Dvd per your recommendation :). Any help full tips would be great. Added a new model since your last post thank you again.

Love your work man! Great source of inspiration! Can’t wait to see more!

@a i r - Wow Thank you so much my friend, I really appreciate your kind words and your great feedback. It really is an honor hearing words like this from an artist like you. You are right, I am still a beginner and I really know that, because there are many amazing sculpters out there but that is a great motivation, I will definenly study hard and practice till my fingers hurt. You really drive my engine even more now, I will push myself with lots of anatomy and headdoodles. Great to hear that you are following my process! THANKS big time!

@d100763 - Thanks buddy glad you like it without the polypaint, I gotta admit I don’t like the polypaint so much either ^^

@FairCat - Yeah FairCat thanks for the great support !:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

@muchlove106 - No problem I try to comment everybody, but the time ^^, you really have potential! Keep it up. Seen your recent work, really cool cartoon headdoodle

@NathanMartinez - Hey thanks Nathan, glad it is an inspiration for you, but look at other artists, they are the real inspiration^^ , but thanks buddy:):+1:

Here is a one day character doodle with texturing - all made with a dynamesh sphere and CurveLineTubes, InsertBrushes expect of the uzi was polymodelled in 3dsmax for a couple of months in my first week course of 3d modelling. Will definently rerender, had some problems with Zbrush, would not let me render a high res image and no AO and shadow map. Working on other things lately, getting my real portfolio characters ready and my showreel, because I really really want to make art in this AMAZING industry. Hope you enjoy anyway. Comments and critiques are more than welcome:).

Great work, Kenny. Your progress with the digital medium is inspiring. Definitely a big motivator for people like me to keep working with those pixols.

Now that you have the technical side spot on I look forward to seeing your personal creative style take form.

Keep it up mate!

great work brother!!! keep on zbrushing!!!

Zain.

Fantastic progress my friend! i definately love your style!

Cheers,
Svyat

Really still another vast step ahead
especially in the neck shoulder aera it looks now perfect in my opinion.

Great fun to follow your thread.
On Second Look Santis could be right. May be you should Push up your lower
clavicle a Little and get rid of the One above?

Cool stuff
In on the last character though, I get the spontaneous impression that he got two pairs of clavicles. There is a dark line in the texture on both sides that are distracting.
Other than that, great work

Looks great KC! Excellent character and it’s awesome to go through this thread and see your progress :+1:

Really nice work. The texturing work is great. Which matcap did you use for the skin?

@Trist - Nice man thanks for the words, you are definently too kind. Well I still need a lot to learn from zbrush, it is so powerful and I totally learn from it every time i am using it. Yeah I really looking forward aswell to develop my style now, thanks again:)

@FairCat - Thanks Svyat my friend for the great support, really appreciate it:)

@Jake Rupert - Hey buddy thanks for the great feedback and for the stop by, yeah you and santis are right, I really didn’t see the two clavicles  strange really ^^ but thanks for the advice:)

@Santis - Thanks for the stop by mate, I really dig your creature designs! Yeah you are right thanks for the advice, somehow I didn’t see that… really looks like two clavicles^^

@Senka - Cool thank you, I really appreciate your kind words. Glad that it is a progress to see, I am really motivated mate:)

@MiNTY - Thanks man, great seeing you in here. I used an custumize version of the L03 Material.
