updated sketchbook - still learning

@HerraPuputti - Thank you  Yeah I am using spotlight combining with textures and after words polypaint. To get the right colour information.

@Darukin - Wow thank you so much for the stop by mate, I really adore and inspire your work! Thanks for the great words, means a lot to me hearing that from you!

Here is another sculpt done on the weekend for anatomy/skin/texture study - Taking an hour out of each day to develop new sculpting techniques and habits.
Here is a 2 hour speed sculpt and texturing of an old man . Critics and comments are more than welcomed. Hope you all enjoy!!

You did a good job on you old man. I like the last image the best - the previous ones looked like he had a bunch of gnats buzzing around his head. This one looks like only a few gnats buzzing - I am assuming that they will disappear with rendering? IF not, I would suggest removing the dots and replace them with a few solid strands of hair. Otherwise it looks great. I like the sad expressions on his face. His eyes really draw you in to the picture.

really like the man. head with textu
re and hair looks great (made in 2 hours you say?) only thing is the shirt, it penetrates the body near the neck area, and the texture is stretched there, would be nice if you can fix this, as they otherwisw look great too. (i do a quick retopology, when messy stretching occurs) well done, great study. i should do quicker pieces for learning as well…

Nice one bro ^^ Keep goin’
Chris

Good portrait mate, great to see progression in your work.

@LD - Wow cool man thanks for the stop by and for your kind words and feedback/advice. Yeah you are right it really looks like a bunch of gnats buzzing :D:)

@kokoro - Thanks for the stop by mate and for the great advice, you are totally right, his cloth texture looks very strange, I will definently rework that and thank your for the constructive advice:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

@aliengraphic - Thanks Chris, really appreciate your great support and feedback!

@johnchen - Thanks for the stop by and the kind words:)

Your work is just outstanding these days Kenny, besides the amazing quantity of work your putting out. Kudos to you.

Ezra

@Ezra52 - Thank you so much for your kind words man, really appreciate it

Taking an hour out of each day to develop new sculpting techniques and habits.
Here is a 2 hour speed sculpt and texturing of Angelina Jolie. A friend of mine wanted that I should do a female head study and we thought angelina would be a good fit for the anatomy. I also did this as an exercise for an upcoming art test which also is a task to do a femail character and I really think woman are way harder, my sculpt of angelina looks still too much male instead of female…well Critics and comments are more than welcomed. Hope you all enjoy!!

Looking good…really starting to capture the essence of the woman…Hit the fibre mesh button…use at least 10 segments per fibre and groom that sucker

Nice!

@ministerart@hotmail.co.uk - Thank you for the stop by and for the feedback mate  I will definently rework the hair^^

Well thought I just post a little WIP - I cutted off the body and only a screen grap because I am still working on it and still have a little time left for the final one
Will post my latest dailydoodle for today later on, working on a likeness sculpt and texturing of Ryan Gossling for FMX 2012!
Hope you all enjoy anyway, a little more than my last post :stuck_out_tongue: Critics and comments are more then welcomed

Like the direction of your new monster head
One crit would be that the structure around the inner eye/cheek/nose is a little unclear. Try thinking about the bone structure a little bit more before moving on. Keep up the great work

@Santis - Thanks buddy really appreciate your great feedback and advice! You are totally right Santis, can’t really tell the bone structure! Will definently rework and I will post my second one soon, am not allowed yet, have to post it first on cghub for the challenge

This is my second entry WIP for the challenge, have finished the model quite a bit but cannot post the final version yet!
Comments and critiques are more than welcomed! This creature comes from the hindu religion and is a bad priest! Hope you all enjoy! Critics and comments are more than welcome!

Looks awesome KC! I assume the obvious things that jump out at me (like the form change between subtools on the neck and skulls) has been changed in final version? Could play with some larger teeth too if you wanted.

5 stars great concept…

Oh! Many good work. Last concept looks interesting! (WIP #2 - of a apocalypse creature)
