Thanks Bas, I’ll do. LOL
Some more doodles then.

fun to see another mealea inspired sculpt :slight_smile: … and, i love that mask, simple and effective.

Nice work on the doodles, I like the mask and the second one a lot !
Keep it going:+1:

Thank you so much!
You and Kokoro have made my day (or whole year of learning learning ZBrush) and then some.
Your work is always great but seeing what you did with something I wrote is making my brain pop (luckily its mostly air!).

I have been watching all the rendering and fibermesh stuff you have been doing and being rather amazed and soon I’m going to dig back into Blender again.

Thank you Michalis you are truly inspiring.

Thanks for the nice comments on my latest xperiments…
Gotta say those masks are beautiful…great flowing curves, feels like party time with Caligula…

Allways looking forward to your new work…Deke

Thank you.
I don’t have much free time for zbrushing these days.
Anyway, doodling mostly and testing new r3/noise maker.

very cool sculpt. reminds me of Egyptian sculptures of the dwarf-god Bes

@magbhitu
Thanks, Bes he is, exactly. Inspired from grecoroman terracottas found in Egypt.

oh! he is Bes - I hadn’t ever seen him in his Greco-Roman form, only the old-dynasty Egyptian. very cool to see him change with the times. awesome you carried him through despite the style changes. doubly superb!

@magbhitu
Thanks,
I can’t figure a decent way to export this noise maker effect, baked on a UV map.
Except of subdividing a lot, applying noise. This isn’t a very nice method. Any ideas?

These doodle designs are Very creative, fun, and funny. You must have a good sense of humor.

Thanks you nicksc.
More doodles then. Just sculpting when I have some free time. Difficult these days.

Didn’t know who the thumbnail in the bottom row belonged to, but saw old master qualities in it…No surprize when I found that it belonged to you…:D…Great job Michalis…:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Some cycles/blender renders for fun.
I tried to export ZB noise maker and ZB cavity effect directly, without using UV mapping - baking.
Well, blender can also automatically “bake” dirt (cavity) using vertex painting mode (similar to ZB). This vertex painting information can be used as a parameter in the Cycles node system.
Noise maker effect can be applied on a cube, grab-render it and convert it easily as a seamless texture in Ps. Box blended mapping method is used in cycles then (similar to the ZB method)

Testing new QRemesher, UVmaster, exporting displacements.
Rendered in cycles blender, textures and dirt/cavity painting directly in blender. Almost procedural.
A wip

awesome! would love to see some blender material settup screenies if you have the time

Thanks,
I use a base mesh, subd x3, displacement, then a second displacement map as bumps, baked on this subd level of course, for hi freq details.
here’s the cycles setup

two minds same idea :slight_smile: i am doing just now exactely same testings :slight_smile: qremesher is great, and your result of render in blender too. thanks for sharing the blender settings you used…

@kokoro, Thank you.
This cycles setup works fine for me. Vertex painting autopaint dirt works but rather for previewing. Cavity mask in zb is a much better solution.

The sculpting is fantastic
The renders look like photographs
And the cycles thing looks like something that would cause mental illness and cancer in white
laboratory rats in California, luckily for me Pixologic is cranking out updates so fast I never
find time to learn that stuff. I’m kidding of course, I do want to learn it especially looking at
the stuff you are making.

Absolutely amazing.
