Thanks wethand.
As you mentioned, just testing and having some fun. Most importantly, testing the export possibilities to other apps.
Why UVs? Noticed the simple texture bump? All this took 5 mins only. And after all, it’s these fantastic fiber brushes that impressed me.
I love it … Sir, you are now a landscape painter! Amazing where everyone is going with these new tools! :lol: All the best, David
Thank you chalkman
But… I’m a painter LOL, years and years with my watercolors, studying such subjects.
I have two masters guiding me here. Dürer and Andrew Wyeth. And these dry mediterranean themes. The use of Raw Umber / sienna and terre verte. No much blue, it’s not the sky, is the air what’s interests me.
Great use of the fibers! Beautifully done!
WOW…Looking Great there Michalis…Beautiful study.small_orange_diamond:)
michalis… this is just awesome…
why uv’s… you do an AWESOME job only inside zbrush!!! thanks for this inspirational work!
keep it up! like it alot!
I was just being facetious! Your artistic ability is obvious! Your choice of Masters is also impeccable! :lol:
Wonderful, inspiring work as always. Cheers, David
Thank you,
@KrakenCMT
@SD
@wethand, why UVs? Very useful, even for internal use in zbrush. As for exporting, I won’t spend all my time in BPR of course.
@chalkman, most of all artists, Alberto Giacometti, the man who showed me what “less is more” and “precise drawing” really means.
Beautiful
Yeah!
Whatever you do, you turn it into something special!
Love it!
Your renders are always mindblowing!
Damm it, how have you done it?
I don’t have time for zBrush now…oh, already started the program
Didn’t knew Andrew Wyeth. Thanks for this little inspiring journey through beautiful art.
class!
looks awesome love the color grading on the plant scene.
Looking good!
Thank you Etcher !
Thanks Knacki, how I did it? In 1-2 hours. This is the point of fibermesh and more importantly of the fixed cavity-ao masking with these brilliant additions. I just merged 5-6 cubes, moved them, reshaped them (clever W tool !!! wow) dynameshed and sculpted using a flattener and alphas mostly. I also used three ‘layers’ fibers. The third one as three passes (see the last pixolator’s tutorial videos - the tree). Two materials, the one for the grass with waxshading enabled. One light only. I also layered a noisy grey texture in Ps (hard-light) to simulate some kind of GI and have warm-sepia like tones in shadows.
@earthtriber, thank you.
@strangehighways, thank you! yeah, earth tones, my favorite.
Thank you asecbrush!
Looks awesome. Very well done.
Thank you nicksc.
Another fibermesh experiment.
Beautiful Michalis small_orange_diamond:)
Maybe put one of your ancient statues in there
Glenn
Thanks SD.
These are procedural trees. A ‘hand made’ is always better. But it takes much more time. This one in less than 10 mins.
These conifers-like took 4M for the leaves. And still don’t look enough. Damn conifers :lol:
