Thank you, but no, my birthday isn’t in January at all. I don’t know where that nickname (jan19) came from, but I’ve been using it for so long, I don’t feel right using any other nic. My name really is Jan, so I guess that’s part of it.
I think the number 19 fascinated me because 1 + 9 = 10, which is 1 again, if you add 1 + 0. So on and on it goes,
into infinity. Either that, or I stabbed a pencil at a calendar.

What is this is all delayed because Pixologic and Keyshot are having an argument? What if Keyshot wants more $$ ? What if Keyshot wants a divorce ?! What if the PC version is totally ready but we are all waiting for MAC testing? What if ! ? :o

It seems to me that the 3D Printer World Expo is coming up the last week/weekend of this month and if I were Pixologic I would want to make a big splash in front of a large audience. What better way than to announce the release of their newest version of this fine sculpting software. Just my observation though…

I’ve got to agree with mjjones234. A perfect platform for a great release with a great line up of artists. Given that most people still do their low poly modelling in the other 3d packages and then send to Zbrush to sculpt for 3D Print, what a better way to say “Hey, you don’t need these other 3D programs for 3D printing. You can do it all within Zbrush 4R7!”. I’m Sold!

I will never put my faith in a company launch again, and this is not a shot at pixologic. People do this with iphones and many video games. I have no idea how many times I push the refresh button on pixologic home page…I don’t think its nothing wrong with being excited about a launch, but to be obsess is another thing. As humans we put to much faith and happiness into corporations to feel a void that will never be filled. Trust me when 4r 7 get released we will all be talking about when will zbrush 5 be released. We all have to understand pixologic is still a company and we will never know what goes on behind close doors. do i like how they handle the launch? no (I am sure pixologic doesn’t like either) but **** happens…I think we all will learn from this launch and so will pixologic…If you look at your own user galleries including myself most of us are so far behind on 4r6
But that we all do in our life: We have plans and we think that play comes so like we have imagined. But the truth is often different.
And i think the work for such updates are very difficult. And now with KeyShot bridge again one level more.
So, have patience :o)
Keyshot is super, super easy at rendering hard surface models. But it takes a bit of finagling to get organic models looking good. Its still a lot easier than VRAY though 
But that we all do in our life: We have plans and we think that play comes so like we have imagined. But the truth is often different.
And i think the work for such updates are very difficult. And now with KeyShot bridge again one level more.
