Status update

no! no! no!

don’t lie you!!!

I know you really want it now, so don’t be polite people!!! Want it rrriiight nnoww!! Can’t wait anymore!!

just being honest!
(and by saying so I show real appreciation for pixologic products indeed!)

Yes. If there was a wave of “oh, who cares?” then Pixo would need to be concerned about the popularity
of its products.

But there is weeping and wailing and gnashing of teeth. If the sound of all our teeth gnashing was combined, it’d break the sound barrier.

It’d be loud anyway.

Thanks for all the great sites and recommendations. Now I have enough stuff to keep me busy while I wait for release.!

nothing yesterday an nothing today…last hope is tomorrow!!!:sunglasses:

I suggest you imagine this is the new ZMODELER BRUSH and practice your HARD-Surface, this update release may be next week… I’m sure if it was gonna be next month they would have warned us

yeah i think is right…

or not?

If you can’t wait for ZB’S HARDSURFACEI suggest you imagine this is the new ZMODELER BRUSH and practice your HARD-Surface, this update release may be next week… I’m sure if it was gonna be next month they would have warned us

Ill be shocked if they release it on a Friday with no customer service on the weekend.

better tomorrow than next week…lol

Thebest - do u need to add +4 months. Soz to say but ur youtube is very similar mate to what u posted

sorry you went through all that trouble to try and criticize my work. you need to try harder, or focus on showing your speed sculpts…peace and love

Best12 - God no! I’m not criticizing your work at all. The time frame yes. I must have just misunderstood thinking you just did your sculpt in 25 minutes (ie: the same day you posted it).

But the fact is, if you post anything on ZBC then surely you are welcoming critique - positives and negatives. I’ve already replied to your earlier post regarding posting work, I don’t feel the need too, as a hobbyist. I’m very happy in the way I use ZB and my abilities and am not looking to show my art to gain work etc. When I feel the need to and wish for constructive criticism I will. I’ve previously stated I enjoy helping others in ZB and that’s where I find enjoyment

e.g.

Infact, I recollect I even replied with a possible solution to one of the questions you was pondering over. But you never responded.

Anyway, apologies if what I wrote came across as offensive. Peace also. I’m gonna leave the love out though, cos ya look a big fella lol

Back to the thread! 4R7 tomorrow please !!! :+1:

Maybe this is z brush humor, I just feel you can’t just call someone out with a conspiracy theory. I sculpt very fast, because of my concept drawing skills. I go in with a plan and lay it down fast. I will be happy to show on Google hang out

So sorry to hear about your loss Michael…

Kind of you Pendraia…thank you.

maybe they forgot about zbrush 4r7, and they are preparing for 3D Printer World Expo…they just gave it front page on their site

After doing a little pondering…

If ZB 4R7 is going to replace 4R6 – if we have to uninstall 4R6 in order to use 4R7 – and if 4R7 really is unstable right now, then I would rather keep 4R6 until 4R7 is absolutely stable.

I’m just getting friendly and familiar with 4R6, and enjoying it more than I ever have.

But if we can keep both versions on one computer, I can deal with a few bugs on the new ZB.

And I speak for myself only. I don’t know how everyone else feels about that situation.

Jan, you should be able to have more than one version installed just keep in mind that you’ll be eating up one of your seats (I forget how many seats you get from one purchase) - and it’s the 64 bit version that will be a little buggy (if buggy at all). Regular 4r7 will hopefully be bug free.

Best12 - Hang out really not necessary. I do believe you mate and your process. IMO I think there’s a lot of similarities to your sculpts 4 months ago and the 25 min speed sculpt you did. Which… makes me think, ‘muscle memory’ might playing its part here.

I found I was also doing the same. When I stepped back and looked at work to compare, I found similarities which bugged the hell out of me. Then I went off and did a load of research on it. I think I really understood it when I watch Feng Zhu’s videos on Youtube ‘FZDSCHOOL’. It’s 2D but the muscle memory theory is the same. I can’t exactly remember which episode it was, but a google search of “feng zhu muscle memory” will pull up the theory behind it.

Anyway, nuff said on this thread regarding cos it’s not fair on others who have subscribed to this thread waiting with baited breath on news about 4R7. If you want to continue on this subject I will happily post on your Sketchbook thread.

Best Regards

If they decided to wait and finish the 64bit version why release the 32 at all? Are there that many people still using x86?

If they are still on track to release 4r7 in January then I imagine that they will use the 3D Printer World Expo 2015 as the launch platform. It runs from January 29th to the 31st. It seems the logical and most probable time for it.
