Sketchbook Part 2

I love the flow of the muscles, and the sharp lines with soft form. Very cool.

Thanks man, means a lot :+1:

how are you sculpting on the thin parts in his hand. usually when i try to sculpt on something thin, it affects both sides.

also, his mangina is kinda distracting :stuck_out_tongue:

looks good! i would suggest spreading his thumb out though. he would never be able to move it with that flap of skin being so tight. thats my only critique, keep up the good work. :+1:

i’m careful not to go outside the mesh when sculpting, and I use a small brush

his fingers seem a bit thin for his body ;d

very true slocik, Ill look into that

love the forms and flow, feet are really interesting design.:+1:
Fingers feel a bit skinny, but the flow/shapes there are way cool
really like that forest guys face too

And a render/update, fixed the hands, and genitalia

Nice anatomy work on that last one…hands are good to go now

Thanks man :+1:

now his fngers feel inflated ;D The small finger can stay like that but the thumb and his main 2 fingers need to get longer. His chest is huge as hell, he would have to do a lot of heavy lifting to get it like that, so he needs really solid and strong hands. Same goes for his biceps, needs to be also thicker. Back of his ears also lack in definition.
Anwyay when you finish his hands and ears it loooks liek its finished, you can go to detail it up and wrap it up ;]

The image you saw was liquified in photoshop, I put the original up. The ribs are fixed in the original I was trying for something different with the photoshop edit

Excellent work, as usual Framedworld.

Why thank you man got some exciting stuff in the works

Hey guys be sure to check out my beta thread over on the forum pages, I’m really proud of the team, and am very happy with everything:)

http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?161137-ZBrush-4R2-Beta-Testing-By-Matthew-Kean

Also seeing as there is a model on the previous page that needs finishing, I decided why not finish it in the beta its towards the top look for it:P

This is the start of a whole new me

this piece never found its way to the final beta thread.

it was a sculpture I did that was going to show off the new realtime material blending options, but this one failed because the video never recorded properly. so I was left with just the model, here you go.

Enjoy and don’t forget to check out my beta works on the beta thread

Thanks for stopping by.

double post sorry

I didn’t want to post this to beta thread just yet as It wasn’t done, but I’ll post it here for the time being.

Man playing with a blade of grass. about an hour. From a sphere. needed something to take my mind off of the two other sculpts I was detailing. (detailing can either be really fun or really tedious depending on the sculpture) I was happy with how this one was coming. Mind you no base mesh. Which in my case is a great thing, because I can finally begin to explore these forms without worrying if my edge flow is in tack and if I can keep going.

roughing in base forms

I’ll post a timelapse soon. its just started so we will see where this goes :stuck_out_tongue:
