I began a sketchbook a while back and then disappeared for a bit due to personal reasons, well I decided to poke my head back in and see how you all are doing and show some work I’ve done.

NOTE: not a single drop of maya in these renders, everything you see here is rendered in zbrush

Excellent work! Great portrait, my favorite!

Just some other workflow on dress texture. A better UV editor probably. Blender is free and great on this. The trick IMO is that dresses-shirts have visible seams indeed. They have to be visible :lol:

Just a nitpick… …The muscled guy posted at the top of this page…Get that inside leg curve on the muscled guys calf muscle to fall lower than the outside curve…That will create a nice opposing curve rhythm in that area.

@michalis: thanks for the kind words, and I agree about the dress, it renders out alright, but in all honesty its just sprayed on with spotlight using a single texture. Ill definitely will go in and give it the love it needs

Now I’m just going to break down the devil above, I’ve been on a devil kick lately, idk why. But he is the first of two devil projects I thought of.

The second project I plan is more of a structured cartoon. here is an illustration I did. I’ll be sculpting the big guy and the little guy and posing them as shown:
