So, About the Hair, i bought a tutorial at taobao from a chinese guy with this technique and i thinking about give a try, i created a basic poly shape and puted on the position of the clumps(very boring part btw), also a extracted some planes from these polys,
then i converted then to subd, and then to nurb, and redirected the direction of the geo, and then i extracted nurb curves from the isoparms. The curves from the clumps was used to give the volume of the hair, the curves from the planes to give the “flyaway” hairs, and i created another
system of both together, but more messy and less hair, to fill the transitions between the 2 first system and to give more reality, i use shave and haircut btw.
And for the body/fuzz hair, i created the fuzz using the maya fur, rendered on maya software, painted the direction with the paint tool of thefur. Another type of body hair was created, longer and less dense than the fine fuzz to give more creature look.
I rendered then separately and comp then together on ps:
if you still want to know about any other thing ill be happy to answer

living_for_cg - no problem, my friend!
DaveySculptor - hey, thanks man!!
mad-one - hey man, sorry for taking so long to answer and i didnt get, do you mean the saliva or the slime/brownish part? if was the saliva, it was a simple geo with refraction. if was the brownish parte between the lip and that ‘second jaw’ it was only texture painted, let mt know if that helped!
luoqisheng - thanks man, love your stuff!
thequietpotato - thanks a lot man, glad that you liked!!
