Samuel's Zbrush Adventure!

@Diablo, Thanks! indeed, I like to try and keep creating something completely different each time I start a new project. it’s more exciting and I learn a wider spectrum of new things. on that note! here’s something completely new again! xD

Something I’ve been wanting to try out since forever! to sculpt an anime inspired character  Here’s my attempts thus far ^^.

Jumping wip render 2.jpg

Taken this character a little further.

Getting back into speed sculpts once again, upto K for Kasha Demon Cat, from Japanese folklore.
The Kasha Demon appears with a crack of lightning at a bad persons funeral to drag them away to hell! or so the story goes. Didn’t get as far as I would have liked, but that’s the whole point. keep on moving forward.

I came across the RIOT games art contest and couldn’t resist to enter! so Here’s my WIP so far. I decided to create Soraka the Starchild. just blocking in proportions and basic anatomy right now.

Haven’t uploaded here in a while… So, here’s a little update. ^^ a fair bit of anatomical changes, and also been working on clothes and accessories as well as beginning on color and texturing

enjoy

Hey buddy,long time didn’t check your works.this one is really cool.keep pushing.;);)

Have been so strapped for time lately that I’ve just decided to do small study projects in between life, Here is a rock crystal I sculpted today, based on first hand reference  (textures obtained via taking photos of said rock)

Well, I happen to be a collector of stones. Not only crystals, gemcuts and fossils, but also pieces of rock I collect wherever I travel.

Your work is really very close to the real thing. I guess that when you spend some time to add some painted detail to the projected texture, it will become difficult to know whether this is a real stone or a created one.

Congrats!

Thank you Erik,

It so happens I am also something of a collector, I have always been fascinated by the beauty that nature can produce under such incredible forces of power!
I have no shortage of reference material so I think I might try my hand at sculpting a few more stones and crystals.

Thanks again!

Another little project I did for a bit of fun. I made a greatsword (Inspired by playing Shadow of Mordor and the Witcher) I thought it would be fun to make this :
)

hey man - looks much better as per our discussion on fb.

Hey man, how you doin’? This one looks pretty nice. Keep it up;)

Thanks fellas!

Revisiting an older project that I was never quite satisfied with, taking her in a different direction this time. still got to make her “clothes” Might even try my hand at making a fully 3D environment!

That’s an interesting lady satyr!

Hope that’s the right word…satyr.

Thank you  and Yes I believe Satyr is correct, although I’ve just been calling her a ‘she-Faun’ :stuck_out_tongue: I think, that in Folklore Fauns and Satyrs only ever appeared as male? so maybe we’re both wrong? haha

Could be a succubus/incubus kind of situation.

She-Faun is as good a name as any!

@jan19 heh Pretty much yep ^^

Still tinkering away at the She-Faun, Doing a few shader tests withing Zbrush, attempted to make my own skinshader material today. Here are the results ^^ (also used filters, lighting and final touchups in PS)
