perspectiv not work dynamic
Download and installed ZBrush4R8 in my Win 7 laptop (using full installer as suggested) everything went ok.
After using the same 4R8 installer in my desktop PC
I have this error in a fresh W10 machine:
Zscript Note: Specified Execute-file could not be found.
SCRIPT: Sculpteo.txt
[FileExecute,[Var,gSculpteoDLLPath],CreateFolder,gSharedPath]
Should I DEACTIVATE my copy of ZBrush4R8 in my desktop PC before trying to reinstall it?
Sorry if this has been answered before.
thank you.
This is a known issue and is being worked on. Unless you specifically need the ZBrush to Sculpteo plugin, you can safely ignore the error until a patch is released to fix it.
When working with Live Boolean and the 3D Gizmo, it happens sometimes that my custom UI is changed for some reason.
Several buttons and sliders just dissappear for an unknown reason.
So I have to reload my custom UI.
Anyone else had this happen?
Bug or design? Can’t see masks when live boolean is active, the only way to see it is by turning on polyframe???
Another way to see the masks in LiveBoolean mode is by activating Transparency or Ghost Transparency.
Seems like a bug to me but there might be some reason for it to be set up this way that I’m not seeing.
cheers
I have a problem with new system for non-overlapping strokes:
Documentation for Lazy Mouse 2.0 says non-buildup for overlapping strokes should only work with both Lazy mouse AND morph target enabled.
http://docs.pixologic.com/user-guide/3d-modeling/sculpting/sculpting-brushes/lazy-mouse-2-0/
In reality just making a MT with no Lazy mouse makes it work. As a result Clay brush and Clay tubes become close to unusable, acting as single-height layer brush. Is this intended or I get it wrong?
Has anybody had any problems with the Live Boolean function? I’m finding that the preview works fine, yet when I try to bake it by hitting “Make Boolean” the final mesh isn’t shoeing up in the tool palette.
Somebody else was having this issue. You will have to go through the thread starting here.
I’m having trouble with the resolution of dragging out alphas. The problem is that the resolution seems to suddenly change as I drag out the alpha. When I start off dragging out a skin pore alpha it is at a super low resolution. as I continue to drag it out it suddenly pops to a higher resolution. It has nothing to do with mesh density and seems to be depending on how far its dragged out as it suddenly jumps in resolution.
I hope there’s an easy fix as this really screws up my workflow at the moment.
i found a tweak to change numerical value for maksing ans msoothing brushes
but it’s trickyi just highlight the value enter the value without to hit enter key, but instead i use the Ctrl or shift to validate the value.
what is strange again is if the current none mask/smooth brush don’t have the lazymouse enable, i must to enable it temporary the time to apply the tweak with the masking of smoothing brush, then get back to current regular brush and disable the lazy mouse.
if the option isn’t enable before to change the value for the masking for emxaple, it will disable the value i try to change (lazyStep) then i can’t to enter any value at all.
I really hope that aurick and marcus had reported this bug, this is a major issue !
I’m not sure it was a genius, since reply form page formatting is broken.
You can quote a post, once You’ve clicked the Reply to Thread under the post, link would look like:

Just change it to &noquote=0
Some Userscript could fix that, but I’m not a fan of Quoting myself.
It has been recommended by Pixologic to rebuild in R8 any custom UIs built in a previous version, if that applies here.
It was @artmaker, who ended up having to make support ticket. I hope he checks back in here if his issue is solved. I’d love to know what the problem was.

On my end the chisel brush definitely needs both Lasy Mouse and MT stored for the snapping to work properly.
Furthermore if your Clay Brush stroke doesn’t build upon itself, would you mind checking if “Buildup” under Brush >> Samples is checked or not for these brushes? It should be turned on. (the doculentation points to a non-existent setting)
cheers

Snapping - yes, works only with Lazy Mouse, because it is defined by Snap Radius in Lazy mouse.
Im talking not about snapping, but about non-overlapping strokes, which, for me, starts working with storing Morph Target (Lazy mouse disabled or enabled - doesn
t matter).
This makes clay and clay tubes unusable. Clay Buildup works fine.
Buildup under Brush>> Samples in 4R8 is on with Clay Buildup, off with Clay and Clay Tubes. This is the same setup as in 4R7.

S-ed ,
Thanks, fast samples indeed solve the problem, although it looks more like a workaround than a logical solution.
With fast samples enabled non-overlapping strokes don`t work at all (when I need them), regardless of lazy mouse <<- this contradicts official user guide
As clay brushes are one of the most popular ones, and morph targets are core functionality of Zbrush, I imagine many people will be frustrated by this.
GoZ reinstall doest show any applicatins. I have 3damax 2017 and photoshop and they dont appear there. How I can install GoZ ?
@S-ed
I know it is still possible to do it manually, but that is tedious, time consuming, has formatting problems and after five or six people it gets friggin old.
Quote and MultiQuote were an excellent feature that was removed, I used the word genius to describe the person who did this sarcastically. It was a great feature and it was removed.
I ran into a thing in a number of threads where a lot of people were working on the same project and everyone was saying stuff and asking questions, using quote or especially multiquote was an awesome way of not only responding to a lot of stuff at once but keeping track of what was go9ng on at the same time.
Now that its been removed that sort of thing has literally stopped happening on this site.
And that sucks.
Also, I suppose this conversation belongs in another thread, but that’s life.
Thanks in answering my question.
I’ll wait for that patch.
In the mean time I did what you suggested in one of the above posts.
Completely uninstalled it (including folders) > reinstalled ZB4R8 unchecking the Sculpteo plugin for not being installed.
No more error message
Hey guys, someone has received an effect on the screen as a delay when they change position a project of multiple subtools, more than 50?
Thanks!
