@Laurie, try changing the material, i’m guessing the mat you’re using has bump displaceement on
Thanks spaceboy412.
Problem solved.
I found a workaround fix for the below issue I was having but I was hoping pixologic can somehow incorporate this fix into the next patch/version so that the workaround does not need to happen.
Thanks.
I have problems with the smooth brushes , I need to reload them , and after one use they do not works anymore until next reload , also problem with the trans pose and other issues mentioned above … I hope we get soon the patch and kill the annoying bugs … I am in the middle of production and it is really hard time to works this way…
…that there is an issue with tools dropping to canvas when sculpting, as well as the some of the brushes that I’ve used in Quick Sketch seem less responsive and sluggish.
Sorry for the negativity
The tool dropping to the canvas is DRIVING ME CRAZY.
It definitely only happens with higher poly counts for me… You can only decimate so much…
Also, I noticed that I cant use Dynamesh with imported OBJs. Zbrush crashes instantly, regardless of the parameters typed into dynamesh…
I’ve got a pretty dope computer, so this shouldn’t be happening
I’m stayin faithful though…
CANT WAIT FOR QREMESHER - It would have made my weekend SOOO much easier… Theoretically…
Has anyone had their custom menu’s magically disappear for no reason? I had my brushes and stuff all set up great and closed Zbrush r2b2 down and upon opening up today they’re gone  Frustrating to say the least. That bug fix patch is supposed to come out this week right? Also, the brushes are acting up now as well. Medium rez meshes just seem to gob the polys on there in a mound if you are using buildup and lay down strokes to fast.
BPR shadows only get updated if the model changes position in 4r2b but this appears to cause an issue when there is a 3D layer geometry change. The shadows do not always update to reflect the change in geo during a timeline animation BPR render. Not super easy to reproduce, but has happened several times.
Well it’s still an annoying problem and I have no clue why this is not working.
Again I want to pose my model within ZBrush and I thought this is what TPose Plugin is for…
I read anything about TPose I found but I think the mistake is not on my side.
Model with 2 subtools.
Model counts 800000 polys - the subtools are simple spheres.
The main tool is a dynamesh.
So I click TPose Mesh within the TPose Master Plugin - before I activate ZSphere Rig.
Then I create a ZSphere Rig as you can see here:
I tried to fill out empty space as good as I could
After the Rig is finished I click BIND MESH under RIGGING menu
ZBrush binds the mesh…
After this process is done I rotate the ZSpheres with the binded mesh - nothing is masked!
This happens:
Then I click TPose>SubT under TPose Master Plugin…
after some calculation by Zbrush this appears - actaully what you can expect already:
So what is the problem here - is it me? Is it a bug of Zbrush?
The same thing happens with TPose Master Plugin if you not use ZSphere Rig and just try with Transpose tool.
Can anyone help me here?
Does anyone know a program where it’s easy to rig and pose your model?
Is it a problem of dynamesh models?
Any help is more than welcome…
Mods, I created a new post about this in this forum… I didn’t realize it should be asked here, so feel free to delete it.
Anyone else getting this lightbox error?
I double click an alpha in lightbox, and its loaded into texture instead.
This seems sporadic, and sometimes it works properly, and other times I have to select the alpha in lightbox a bunch of times until it drops in.
(And then of course I need to either reselect the texture I want, or turn it off.)
EDIT: Obviously I missed this… DUM DE DUM…
@Gareee - same happens with me - I copied all alphas into the Alpha folder - lightbox loads them into texture - hope this will be fixed soon…
Sounds like an easy fix, Vis. Batch convert any rgb jpgs to grayscale psds.
Yeap, loading lightbox Alphas into the Texture pallet.
Simple workaround, but I doubt it is as intended.
Thank you guys - wish all problems would be so easy to fix.
Still I’m fighting with posing my models with ZSphere rigs…
I have updated my old post with three more 3d layer bugs that I have found in regards to polypainting in zb4r2b
http://www.zbrushcentral.com/showthread.php?166033-3D-layer-bugs&p=929752&viewfull=1#post929752
Hy friends,
the same problem on my MacPro.
When I start ZBrush 4R2b this window
appears.
ZSkript Note: unrecognized command
When I klick on OK, ZBrush 4R2b crashes.
After some new starts it works sometimes.
Maybe I went to the wrong place here, dont know, excuse!
But I have the same Problem with Crashing by starting the new version!
Where I am, where I can be, shobedee:)
Cancel my problem a few posts above this one. I batch rendered the entire folder and sub folders and all is well, thanks for the tip!
Related to my problem at post #167
I tried everything out what came into my mind to solve the posing problem.
After all I made a model without any use of dynamesh - at least now I was able to pose the model without strange stretchings and messing up the mesh - but still there seems a problem: The subtools get deformed after posing.
So I’m asking again - since noone ever replied to my post - does anyone have the same problem?
- Unable to pose a DYNAMESH model with TPose Plugin - either way (with ZSphere Rig or Transpose Tools - both mess up the model)
- Subtools get deformed during posing process and stay that way after posing is finished…
Would be nice to know if this is a bug within 4R2b or how to solve this problem.
I’m only using ZBrush and 3DCoat for retopology - so Rigging and posing within ZBrush is a major WANT for me
Please Help!!!
Some News about this patch?
The new features are awesome but this and some other problems are sometime very frustrating…
