Leads to an International Chamber of E-Commerce spam site for me. IE6, firewall, Norton etc etc. Serves you right for forgetting to use the magic word.
Actually, it serves you right for using IE  Honestly, it doesnāt do that for me. If others have that problem, go ahead and post it to let me know, and Iāll see if I can figure out whatās wrong. Thanks.
(Please?)
Since you ask so nicely ⦠hereās the full url of the site Iām being directed to http://www.chamberecommerce.com/index.htm
Never been there before, so itās not as though Iāve got an old cookie taking me there by mistake. I assume youāve a problem with the domain name look-up (afraid itās been a while since I last built a site, so I forget the exact terminology). Good luck.
Thatās so weird, thatās never happened before the update today. And I know nothing about web dev, so I canāt really do anything about it till Sriram wakes up (heās in India, Iām in the states, so I can only talk to him early in the morning, or later at night).
Well, thanks for letting me know that before too late, so I know I wonāt be getting many hits today.
[EDIT] I edited my signature, just to see if there was something wrong with it, but I doubt it worked. And I canāt tell, since itās always worked for me.
Anyway, I guess Iāll have to get back on topic soon, so updates when ready. Thanks
Alright, just to see what happens, Iām gonna try adding the link here.
Hopefully this oneāll work. So if you can please check this one, and let me know if it links to my site, or somewhere else. Thanks.
hey dudeā¦
both links (sig and posted) work for me. mac 10.3.9 running safari. nice site. nice job sriram! like the mouseovers on top. and really cool work on there jeremy!
been busy but had time for an occasional lurk. stuffās looking good. think the bumps on the fish will look alright once theyāre textured. gray they do look a bit like rivets. but what the heck - that thing definitley eats license plates for breakfast!
Fantastic, Pete, thanks. Iām glad you like the site, and yeah, Sriram does great work. About the fishes bumps, well, I saw them on an angler fish, and thought they looked really cool, so I thought Iād add them in there.
About the Boss, which I am working on now, somewhere along the way fromMax to ZB, or whatever, my uvās got messed up AGAIN, so Iām probably gonna have to redo a lot of work. I could import the low poly back into ZB, but that rarely works out for me. I hope it does this time, though. Iāll post if it works.
Till then, thanks for the comments, and Iām realyl glad you liked the site. (And especially glad the links work for you)
Links now work fine, Iām pleased to say. You already know Iām a fan of your work, and the new site shows it off well. Congrats.
YES!!! It actually imported back into ZB with better uvās!! Iām so happy. Now I donāt have to do the whole thing over again.
Moochie,Iām glad you liked the site, and extrememly happy the links worked. I was getting worried that it would be tomorrow before they could start working again. I suppose I should check my hits again.
And hereās an update on the progress of the lava boss so far. Still LOTS of details to go, and anatomy to figure out. His head is like a zigzag of teeth, with lava in the middle, and partially cooled lava rock all around, so I wanna take my time, and try and do this right.
Anyway, enjoy.
Nice job on the boss sofar.Youāve captured the design well, but I feel that he is a bit āthinā compared to the original Quake 1 Boss

ā¦keep the details coming:)
@Pete,Moochie : Thanks for the feedback guys,Iām glad you liked the new layout:o

hey replica! i prefer this new updated site of yours! much clearer and easy to āuseā
concerning the lava boss, good start but i agree with sriram, he should be more the fatty kind and not the shwarzy monster but i guess we should wait and see what you have in mind to take final shape
keep tgj
abe
Thanks, Abe, Iām sure Sriram will be glad to hear what you think of my site.
And I think youāre right about the boss. Iāll try to at least give his body a bit more bulk. I"m gonna do some experiments with him today, and see what I can come up with.
[EDIT] I forgot to tell you, Abe, I based this guy loosely on your wizard drawing you did earlier in this thread. They have kinda similar body types, so I thought, why not? But Iām bulking him out now.
Ok, I got rid of the rib details, and muscle in the lower body, and replaced them with the rings. I also made him look a little bulkier, but kinda kept the sillhouette of decent body structure. Hopefully it looks good, but I donāt know any more.
Enjoy.

And hereās a bit of an update where he has head details, and teeth! Ooooohhh, teeth. Heās also normal mapped.

nice! looking forward to seeing all these textured and shadereded⦠ed. rock on!
Hahaahaaa, Shadereded⦠
Yeah, I canāt wait to see them textured either, but we still canāt find a texture artist. They seem to be an elusive bunch right now.
some people reading this might be glad to know that Iām re working the Shambler. The mod lead asked for some stuff, so Iām adding it. Iām also changing a few things on him that I thought might make him cooler looking. Iāll post those changes when theyāre ALL done.
Oh yeah, and the lava boss is done, and here he is. Enjoy
Has that wicked āLovecraftā feel to itā¦
Really like it bro
thanks, Odhinn. And if you like Lovecraftian monsters, youāre gonna LOVE the next model. The most Lovecraftian monster I will have done to this date. I have a couple of ideas for him, but with eveybody bitching about how my models donāt look like the originals, Iām not sure if I can do what I want to. I can atleast try it out, I guess.
OOOoooooooohā¦Teeth
Great job on the lowpoly model, this guy deserves to be made a Boss for a game
@abe:Thx,glad you found the new layout easier to use:o
looks good replica!how big theets he has
