Awesome!
The hands are WAY too big for his skinny little wrists. I know you’re going for a stylized look, but they’re still too big. Great work so far, keep it up

Hello there
Thanks again for the kind comments .
Here is a small update on the Leprechaun model .
I scaled down the hands a little as suggested by dustinbrown .
I hope it will be enough caus’ I really want to keep these big hands on purpose .
Please let me know .
I founded some free time too to detail the lower parts of the model :
Shoes/Socks/Pant.
Comment and crits are welcome

I like this model a lot. The leather apron is not finished yet is it?
If you reduce the size of the hands too much they’ll be out of scale with the head and feet. Stick to your guns!

Neat work ! detail in clothes are really good !
Rory_L :
Thank you a lot . Indeed, the leather apron isn’t finished yet. For now, it’s just the lowpoly model from Softimage subdivided in ZBrush .
I’ll update it in my next update probably.
kishkish : Thanks you
Great stuff! would love to see The Elfic Flutist finished.
mcteapot thanks a lot
Indeed I’ll finish her.
In fact I have to clean many areas that was damaged by the arms position corrections.
So it will be done very quickly.
However, I by ‘finished’ you mean textured and render, it isn’t in my plans for now .
At the beggining I want The flutist only as a model.
But who now, perhaps I’ll want to render her suddenly one day or another ^^
Again thank you
Very Cool clean work - Chokmah - great job
Hello ZbrushCentral
Taking a pause about the Leprechaun and others projects (due to work), I recently decided to make a gift for a friend of mine, doing a 3D version of one of his character sketch .
Here are the drawings he gave me :

I started from ZSpheres this time, to get a really basic shape :

Then from here, I did the usual process get overall characteristic lines of the character, mainly with Claytube/Standard/Smooth Brushes :

To finally cleanup the shape and detail it :

Here a bronze version for my own pleasure ^^ :

I hope you’ll like it and Guillaume drawings (aka ocarian)
Thank you again

Really cool! Both the Sculpt and the drawings!
cheers!
Yeahhh! well done!
it reminds me of Profesor Layton and the curious village!!
great work!!
The face of the elf is stunning!!
Also, the man in the cap has been brilliantly sculpted. Love the 2D art as well.
Can’t wait to see more. Keep it up!!

Simply amazing. I love each and every one of them, but above all, manage to give expression to them. That gives them more credibility.

Ville : Thank you
YONA : Indeed, Guillaume was inspired by Professor Layton when he did these drawings . Thank you for your knd comments
bigd17 : I am pleased you like the elf face. I really wanted her face to be ‘special’ ^^
Thank you about the man with the cap too .
I am working on another one from Gullaume on my free time . I hope to be able to post it soon
Mr Vinck : Thank you for your kind words .
About ‘expression’ if you speak about the models in this thread, thank you a lot
If you speak about Guillaume’s drawings, that’s is the reason I asked him to sculpt his drawings
And … if you speak about the too, thank you a lot for the two of us lol
Thank you all for your feedback
Hello again ,
Here a second character from Guillaume Minet (Ocarian) sketches .
This time I modeled the one with the monocle.
As for the pervious one I started from ZSpheres, but this time I used several subtools for the different parts :
I hope you’ll like him as well ^^
