Personnal Modeling Trainings

Good stuff, I like the balance between naturalistic detail and stylization.

Disco Stu : Thanks a lot, I am glad that you like Guillaume designs  I think he has a unique style IMO

womball : Yeah Guillaume and I are really fan of Very steampunk/victorianesque style. Thank you for your kind words

loki_22 : Thank you ;)^^

Renaud Galand : Thank you a lot

maxinkuk : Yeah it was the point of the exercice about translating Guillaume designs in 3D : creating naturalistic details while keeping stylization.
I realized that it was not a so easy exercice lol
Thanks a lot for your kinds words

Hello ZBrushCentral ^^ .

It has been long time since I posted anything … Lot of work as usual

Today I managed to get free time and took time to finish the Leprechaun model from Arthur Spiderwick’s field guide .

It was mainly about the upper part of the character .

Here are screenshots of the full character :

I hope you’ll like it

I’ll try to pose it and perhaps do a little render, not sure …
(I’ll try to post other wip works soon  )

and plz what is your thechnique for building forms clay or claytubes and what setting

Hello there adampof,

About my techniques : I simply use clay , claytube , smooth and move brushes .

Nothing special as you can see

About clothes details, I used mask by alpha features , using simple tileable texture on several layers to control their intensity .

ok thanks can you explain your clothes technique later with pics

nice! good job on the sculpt

Hi there, It has been a long time I didn’t post anything

Here a little work I should have posted some months ago .

It’s a Moggle fan art I did as an exercice for my students .

The goal was to learn the overall tools of Zbrush : Tools, Subtools, Polygroups, Layers, etc …

So I did it myself for fun

Here is the concept art I used :
