Love her look!
Thx LynneMitchell
good news if all goes well she will be rigged and animation ready. Have to balance out some parts tho and have clean topology frown-emoticon
took a break from modelling to do some render test. the colours still aren’t right at all. The hair could work and the wool too.
The skin is still vraysss no textures yet. She will probably be more porcelain skin with freckles and dirt.still quiet some work:)

This is neat. Really like all the different textures.
Reaaly like your work!
Keep 'em coming!
One thing I notice in the render, not the model, is the shading of edges on the line of symmetry of the face. The edge is set to a harden edge from modeling half and merging two halves together. Simple solution is to just select the face and set it soft edges. You don’t even need to specify the edge loop, just the object. The “Harden” and “Soften” edge is found in the Normals menu of the Poly editing menu or in 2016, in the Mesh Display in the Normals grouping. Hope this helps.
Other than this slight problem, it looks great.
thx guys yeah that seam
well it was just a wip so it is the retopologized model, 2 different object and sss doesn’t like that. It will not be an issue when merged and properly smoothed. the shame :(.
small break from the matchstick girl
Love the braces! Great stuff!

Thx Joseph
Here is a test render in arnold. Still lots of stuff to fix and texture…

Some keyshot renders of the space kid.
It took way to long to retopologize and prep the uv’s to get them good for substance painter.
But now I should be able to get proper texture results.

Final entry for the humster3d contest:
captain Val’s Log, stardate 47111.2
After travelling thousands of light-years I finally reached my destination: the unknown planet psll.780.
There seem to be life on this planet. Soon after my landing I met an funny little inhabitant of this planet.
As we realised we both were wearing braces we had a good laugh about it. I have a good feeling about this planet.
