Now Im having fun

It looks like an alien coral reef, i like it!

Yeah, I like that last one. I feel like I’m inside a Christmas tree looking out at a little fuzzy creature sitting on the floor.

@ Urchinator and Cad64:

hehe! thanks! that was just an experiment that happened while I was making the little guy in the middle, he got interrupted so I could check out making repeating textures which is what that image is…
Its got an annoying flaw though, a weird line that appears in all of the repeating textures I try to make and I cant get rid of it.

Anyhow thanks! and that little guy in the middle has let to me learning a LOT of new stuff…
You know you can make water in 2.5D by holding down ALT while wiggling the SnakeHookBrush? its the weirdest thing.

hehehe!
Cheers!

Looks like your getting somewhere now with your experiments and explorations.:+1: .I like the last two.

Great to see 2.5D and 3D combined using ZBRUSH…endless and great possiblities in doing so…

just bring the image into photoshop and do an offset filter on it to get that “seamless” look .

@ SpiritDreamer:
Thank you very much, coming from you that means a lot! I will have some more weirdness soon. I’m trying to make things with more depth and Im finding that ZBrush is not quite as infinite as I thought, or at least not in the way I expected it to be. I am also finding that what I expect is not what is reality and that what I want to do is sometimes a very very long complex process, this has led to me playing more with 2.5D and that I think is a good thing as Martha Stewart would say.
GRIN!

@ Tyrellcorp:
Ahhhh… I haven’t got Photoshop and it looks like the version that is compatible with Zbrush (and GoZ) is over $1000 usd. Thank you for the advice though!

Cheers! (and thanks!)

Check out the link above…It’s free for 30 days…Great program, and alot less expensive than photoshop…Might be just what your looking for, if you are looking for an exterior program to combine with ZBRUSH…

@ SpiritDreamer:
Is that what Fractile Design Painter turned into? That was an awesome program and Corel was buying all sorts of stuff up last time I saw that in the 90’s if I remember correctly…
I have a nice program for general painting stuff called Art Rage Pro which is very fun and has a number of Painters old features and some new ones but If Painter is still around I will have to have a look!

Thank you!

And more, sort of inspired by Zbrush it self:

And one more inspired by just about everyone here, Alian and HR Giger and the fact that ZBrush alows me to do this stuff in the first place:

You need definitely one master :-1:

:+1:

You get another star from me,… for just having fun with the program while exploring, experimenting and while learning…
I like the top post on this page alot…strong image, and nice sense of feeling/emotion projected…:+1:

I agree with SpiritDreamer and I really like the red coral one in the centre.

@ Chari:
Only one?
Wheres the fun in that?
I find my self tempted to go off about BDSM but I will restrain my self… oops… heh… oh yum… this backfired.
Ok sorry, could you elaborate? I am actually curious about how that would help. Cheers! and thanks!

@ Spirit Dreamer:
Thank you very very much, its funny I dident realize how correct I was when I refered to your image(s) as “The Mexican Revolution” at first, but I looked back over it and realized that I was dead on with out realizing it, you got him perfect, multiplying him out like that is a stunning way of displaying what and who he was.

@ Zber:
I like that too, that took more time and is less random then it looks, I have done a bunch of those watching how different brushes and brush strokes flow around and into one and other. I am fascinated by the ~ key trick but I cannot get rid of the fuzzy line making it break… If i can make that not happen inside Zbrush I will be very very excited.
I’m also looking at a way of being able to zoom in or out or even pan and zoom at the same time forever but that is proving tricky and confusing, I know its possible but I haven’t figured it out yet.
One last thing Zber:
You have helped me more than you might realize and I will never be able to thank you enough, you and Aurick got me far enough past the frustrating bits of the initial learning curve that there is no stopping now and thanks to you I am going to help others when I can in the same way.
