Now Im having fun

@SpiritDreamer:
Thanks and thanks for the link! The images are broken but I sent that off to Aurick, I think its the forum upgrade.

@Crazy Horse:
Thanks!! Translucency is something I have yet to learn but I’m working on it. Soon hopefully!

@Yusef Kerr:
Thank you very much, Im trying to learn so many things at once its crazy.

@Scott Leroc:
Thank you!!

Yesterday I discovered that PaintStop is like or is part of the Projection Master, I had no idea it could paint directly onto objects.
Here is the first result of this discovery:

The temptation to use Cookie Monster as an icon for this is nearly overwhelming!

This was tricky…
Without Nancyan and Zber I could not have even attempted this.
Zbrush, lots of subtools, tons of color and a bunch of material and about a million Zspheres.
Also I dont know if anyone has noticed this but the Decimation Master produces mesh just like Sculptris, I found this out while looking into 3D printing and fiddling about with stuff.

—EDIT
This looks weird, nothing like what I made and I dont know why, its sort of cool however…

wOOt! Awesome stuff Mealea. The last one looks like a Jellyfish chorus line. :):+1:

Thank you Zber, seriously thank you.

Screwing about while waiting R2 I made a time lapse video, this is all thats left cause its so big theres nowhere to upload it. This used to be a LOT of zspheres.

Kowl - i think - you must wait a little bit more - than you make more crazy fantastic Z-Works :D:D:D
i like all of the last Structures - give me more shots - i am curious, what you will do with all the new features from R2

Good mornin greetz to you :wink:

thank for see muy thread ! I m so curious see more capture of last… i love topmod… do you know more soft like this???

@Yoogy
GRIN!!!
I will make more I promise, they are very very fun! Also now that the wait is over I find that Sculptris is still more enjoyable then Dynamesh (so far) and has better resolution (I think) but there are other things in this new version that have gotten my attention like the new material stuff, its very fun and VERY VERY strange!

@ Yfchild:
¡Gracias! He usado Google para traducir.

Cheers and thank you both!
Mealea

I’m trying to use Sculptris models in Dynamesh but its not working well so I gave up on dynamesh for the time being and started digging into the material pallets and screwing about with this new wax thing, I dont know why wax is so important all of a sudden but I like it and its fun to play with and its also gotten me interested in the double and quad shaders.
Personally I have always liked the way Sculptris models look in Zbrush and since “retopo-ing” them in Dynamesh ruined them I just hit subdivide a few times and that did the trick and then some.

I need to learn how to save these materials with out killing off the ones they are made out of…

Dapharmer helped me with the saving problem… The “Save” button in the materiel pallet (the one with the nice icons, not the one from the top menu bar) is actually the same thing as “Save As” and is NOT going to over wright default things with what ever you make.

Long live Dapharmer!
Ignorance can go play in traffic.

This is a Zilipede, they live under the Zbrush window and eat crumbs and stuff to keep things running nicely.

Messing about with materiel and BPR filters and making some weird stuff…
I made the rock in Sculptris by doing the hole trick.
Then the Reduce Selected button
Then the reduce brush later to remove stray little polygons
Then GoZ into Zbrush and applied a quad materiel I made
BPR
Then into the BPR Filter in the render menu. The BPR filter thing is insane.

These was made in Jenn3d, then imported into Zbrush via NetFab Studio and dynameshed and pummeled with the clay polish button then into Sculptris for replication and back to Zbrush for lots of color (not necessarily in that order).

This one is due to my discovering that masking has gone insane, every time I create, move or switch objects I have to kill of a mask, in this case it seems to have worked out for the better.

Hi Mealea…:slight_smile:
Love that Ruby broach looking piece…the middle one in your last post.:+1: Now if you can figure a way to make a diamond that looks as good as those rubies are looking…almost there now with that piece …the white area surrounding the red in that piece looks close to diamonds…a little more experimenting and I know you will have it …Tiffany…Watch Out…:smiley:
That …Zilipede…Love it…:D,…In fact all of your stuff is really taking a turn for the better each time I vistit your thread,…not that it was bad to start with, don’t get me wrong…It’s just getting better as time goes by,…and that is always a great thing to see in anyones work…:)…Keep experimenting, and enjoying the journy…Like turning over a log in the woods…you just never know what lies beneath it…and there is only one way to find out…turn it over…:smiley:

Dynamesh is getting fun!

@Spirit Dreamer:
GRIN!!! Thankyou!
The Zilipede was very fun and the ruby thing, if I’m correct in guessing which one you mean, was actually an experiment with making things low poly stuff in Sculptris, I made an object with 2 holes , sort of a tall cube, but with holes going all the way through two sides so it was like four pillars forming a box… I can upload the thing if this is not clear… anyhow I then reduced it to exactly 1024 triangles just to see if I could; as it turned out it was easy and sort of fun in a nit-picky sort of way!

This next thing is for Nancyan and Zber again, 10 subtools, 17.5 million points, lots of rendering effects and a minimum of effort and annoyance.
Thanks you two!

Thank you Rage!

If you did all you could you would be done, at least if you did not try to do more.
What would you do if you could do more then you can?

GRIN!
