and then…
Guys, Kosher (a.k.a. poison -which suits him much better) isn’t worth wasting your time on. He’s just a parasite that feeds on other peoples misery. He is so starved for attention that he’ll even settle for hatred if he can’t get love - he is so full of hate himself. Pity him.
It’s like those people you read about in the news that turn over graves or paint hateful messages on peoples doors; they are so miserable they can only make themselves feel better by bringing others down. Don’t let him goad you into an argument. Just ignore him - it will drive him crazy.
So I walk into a bakery, and ask for a chocolate cake. The girl behind the counter tells me they don’t have any chocolate cakes right now, but she’s working on the batter, and I can buy a lemon meringue now and wait until the chocolate cake is ready. I say no, I can’t eat Lemon, I’m allergic. I end up waiting until the chocolate cake is done, I buy it, and I leave.
The point is I don’t have to buy a lemon meringue pie in order to get a chocolate cake, unless I really want it.
Ah! Ok…Thanks.
So. What’s nurbs?
Well, with what little we have to go on, your guess is as good as anyones. Hopefully, we’ll find out soon.
Exactly what I said. A ‘free licence TRANSFER’ in this case means transferring my current mac license to a temporary PC license until the mac version is ready.
So just how old are you Kosher?
Kosher …
Check your PM.
Lone Deranger, I don’t believe you can ask me that question… it’s a bit discriminatory. Might want to watch how you represent yourself. As for the rest of you trolls, you have no idea what I do in my free time or what I represent. I know one thing is for sure, I don’t bother myself with which operating system I use and act like it makes me better at what I do.

lol, well I realise it is being stretched somewhat but I will reclaim that mac license one day!
#1) I choose not to.
#2) There are MUCH better ways I could spend my money buying the OS and much better ways I could spend my time than dealing with Windows & a dual platform situation…
I understand your point, BUT… I feel that it’s important because Zbrush runs on top of your OS of choice. If you feel your OS of choice is better then you’ll want run zbrush on top of it.
But your right this is another topic.
This thread has become more of place to vent about having to wait for zbrush for there OS of choice. This reminds me of the beta vs vhs days.
Beta was better but everyone used vhs. Beta tapes looked better, were smaller and could hold more info. And yet the sheep got pushed into VHS.
I mean windows…
Anyway it’s just my view on the topic. I’m sure other will see it in a different light.
peace
Much better ways you could spend $20? I doubt that… Just admit it, you’re anti-microsoft. The problem then becomes why should we have to listen to you complain about not running ZBrush when you are clearly making the choice not to? It’s not about how long it takes to release ZBrush either because if they released it today, you guys would be the same people complaining about bugs and so would I. You all got your email from Pixologic explaining the situation… now drop it already, please. For christ’s sake.
Now stop acting like we’re heretics for not agreeing with your approach or I’ll hex you.
Yeah, just as soon as you admit you’re anti-Apple
Most of your posts are so peppered with anti-mac remarks it’s clearly obvious how you feel about mac and mac users.
You even came in here and told us off for complaining yet again (including with a different name apparently) when we were all just sitting around chillin.’
What is your deal, man?
Listen, it’s not about being “anti-microsoft.” Vista is a clunky OS, and we like to use Macs. I know a guy who’s company is owned by Microsoft, and even he hates Vista. Besides the fact, we are invested in the Mac OS, and don’t want to have to spend more money to have to install another OS.
When Pixologic advertised ZBrush as being supported on the Mac platform they never told their customers, “except for the fact it takes forever for upgrades.”
We mac users have waited for a long time with almost no word. Asking for a little customer service is not unreasonable.
Dude, I am not anti-mac and the other poster was NOT me. I don’t even know who that user is. It was just someone that feels the same way I do.
You know a guy that hates Vista? Wow, that’s saying a lot. Vista is not as clunky as OS X, sorry. I have leopard on my Mac system and there are so many things I wish I could do that it doesn’t. Things like, right click and copy paste file paths just doesn’t exist. You have to hunt down some plug-in for it.
I know a guy that is the Admin for one of the largest studios in the world, managing thousands of Red Hat deployments. He runs Vista at home and likes it. He made a comment once about people that hate Microsoft for no other reason than it’s Microsoft. He doesn’t buy into the propaganda from either camp and neither do I. He also hates the fact that his CTO is so anti-microsoft that he ends up hurting the company and inevitably has to deploy it anyways.
So, you’re right. It’s not about hating MS. It’s about this ridiculous religious zeolotry about operating systems and Mac OS being your only option. I run both Mac and Windows and support both with no additional fees. 99% of design, graphics and film firms do this today.
This all just validates the previous poster’s remarks about your LOVE for Mac OS.
If you had invested a little time in research before making the purchase, you would have seen that this was the same turnaround time for 2 -> 2.5. It’s not on Pixologic’s shoulders to make sure you read the fine print and do your research about release dates.
I will drop the issue when you guys drop it. You guys keep trolling the community threads and posting your anti-pixologic garbage.
DNFTT… but if you must:
Dude, whats your deal? Why do you bitch and moan in this thread? Shoo, troll. Go away and play with your ZB3 instead.
(BTW is there any way to ignore users in this forum)?
I still believe you are both the same little troll.
The early estimates from Pixologic were 6 months like before, but it’s been over a year. MORE THAN TWICE AS LONG! That wasn’t in the “fine print” you speak of. It’s not just one guy that hates Vista by any means. I know other people who just got rid of their PC’s for the same reason. Lots of people don’t like Vista. Period. That’s one reason Apple sales have increased.
Oh, and here’s just a small sample of reviews that say Vista is clunky, and a rip-off of OSX. I could easily fill this page with other reviews that agree. You want something to feed on, little troll? Chew on this, and I hope you choke.

Okay, I’m done ranting. I’m going to ignore the troll and hope he just goes away and bothers someone else.
