Hey, we would probably get a Mac version faster than from Pixo though…
hehe dont be too sure … where is that mudbox osx they were talking about ?
Hey, they deliver Maya for Mac don’t they?
c/o what was previously Alias…
Yes, but Autodesk has delivered a Mac version since they took Maya over.
and I’d imagine they maintained most of the original Alias staff
when they did… I think the most significant thing they’ve done
is increase the version cycle by 3 fold ($$$)
So… atleast they can release an updated Mac version…
I think their PR policies are more important to
contrast than their ability to push out a release.
Their track record isn’t helping me see the light
on this one either (mudbox).
edit – hey we’re almost at post #666!!
agreed… that would complicate things terribly.
hm… post 666? Now we might get people scrambling to grab that post. I wouldn’t be surprised if posts 667 and 668 are people saying “HA I GOT POST 666!” lol xD
I wonder if we’ll make it to “lucky 777” before we get Z3…
Are you talking about 777 days or 777 posts? At this point, neither would surprise me in the least.
No no, hit points.
I know what he meant. I was just preparing myself for the inevitable…er…I mean worst. Sorry, it’s been a long haul… not too optimistic these days. Speak of the devil, here comes the #666 post…
Execute order 6-6-6 and release the Mac version of ZBrush 3.1 !!!
Autodesk also took over Alias Sketchbook and recently released Sketchbook Pro 2009…works great with black Macbooks. There used to be an issue with the graphics cards. Other than that, a few enhancements were made and a new paint bucket tool was added. Great sketching program btw.
Tell me again which part sucks and which part blows?
Sometimes I would like the euthanasia for this thread… it’s a slow and painful agony.
you know what they say about misery…
…misery loves this company?
Is it soon yet?
“Soon” is one of those words that can mean so many things when written. Now if we had an audio file of Aurick saying “soon” we might have a better chance of nailing down a time frame. If he says “soon” very directly, short and to the point, we can expect something within the next couple months. However, if we hear “soon” followed by a sarcastic snicker and “suckers”… let’s just say this thread will be around for a long time.
