Aurick, if you don’t have any news with mac Z3 development yet at least do something with Kosher please. I 've had enough of checking this thread daily just to see pointless and useless small talk.

To anyone that doesn’t like reading my daily updates for the Mac and Zbrush 3 Thread, I found an ignore feature in my profile section. Not that I am encouraging anyone to ignore my infinite wisdom but hey, if you don’t like the news, change the channel.

Let’s hope it’s not a Mac truck. That would be a little too ironic.
There’s a ton of amazing work in the galleries. But since a lot of those users originated in 3d, it shows in their composition. A lot of the final drafts look very video gamish and have that distinct cg look and subject matter, which is amazing in it’s own way. Those with deeper roots in 3d are more likely to use Zbrush for making the most awesome characters for movies and video games known to man - very cool stuff.
While I think those with deeper roots in ‘traditional media’, such as myself, will produce works that are more likely to end up on someones wall as a fine art print or in a gallery. Therefore, the Mac release is going to open the Zdoor for a lot of traditional artists, being that most of us use the Mac platform. I really think it’s going to have an awesome impact on the world of fine art, similar to how it improved the world of 3d.

I had a dream last night. Zbrush 3 finally came out for the MAC. I had a Zbrush 3 party, jumped up and down and celebrated. I installed it on my Macbook Pro (whick took FOREVER), and restarted the machine. I opened up the applications folder, and with great anticipation dragged the Zbrush 3 icon to the menu bar. I cracked my knuckles, adjusted my seat, drank a Mountain Dew, and finally clicked the Application Icon… and then I woke up.
Even in my dreams, ZB3 is unattainable.
What a crappy dream.
But I would totally be down to have a z3 party

I’ve just purchased zbrush 2, having the faith that Zbrush 3 will be let out of its cage before too long…I know from reading the threads that a lot of you are understandably frustrated but surely with the knowledge that Zbrush 3 has been beta tested for a considerable time that the wait is almost over!!! Surely you want an application that performs perfectly than a bugged out, crappy version?

Seriuosly now…this is what you find on NewTek’s site(Lightwave 3D). It’s from Feb. 20, 2008. Now i registered and i can go to the forums and see what build they are on, download the Beta of the new build and see how far along they are. Cant we at LEAST get a sticky on the forums(that NO ONE can reply to) that updates where they are on it? Now, i dont call, email, bug or feel screwed by NewTek because i KNOW what they are doing and constantly are updated to their progress on the version. I know every software is different and with the amount of silence from the creators. I imagine there is a GREAT barrier for them in getting a MAC version created. Maybe I am just spoiled by this type of honesty and openness.
An excellent and reasonable request. Why don’t we start an in-forum petition, right here and now, for Pixologic to do this or something like it? I’ll add my name with this post. Once we have everyone on board, we can then ask aurick to pass it on to management for us. Anyone else?
