It will, but all these delays are just inhumane.
Wow, I’m surprised these people didn’t jump down your throat for even comparing Apple’s secrecy to ZBs. They must be in bed or something. I am sure they’ll be here to comment on my comment before too long.
Hope it helps with that

Aurick : All I want to know is - are we talking days, weeks, months or years before the release ?
DNFTT!.. but, if you must…
You’ve got a point release of OS X coming up…compatibility issues?
Mua hahahaha!
Heh, you really do get your jollies by pushing peoples’ buttons (or rather, trying to), don’t you? Folks who do that always like to play the victim… yeah, as if you’re just waiting around for us crazy Mac fanatics/Steve Jobs lapdogs to come and crucify you…oookay…
Why else would you post the comment? So that people don’t read it, and don’t respond? Ha, nice one.
And, for the record, Apple’s arrogance has been half the reason I’ve cut Pix so much slack. Frankly, Apple hasn’t made it easy for them. And honestly, if it wasn’t for the difficulty Apple has presented to cross-platform developers, I think we could have been legitimately twice as ticked in half the time.
We’ve been a very fair and patient bunch.
I’m not the victim. You keep believing that I am just here to antagonize you. It’s not fair that I get called out for every post I make. You guys just need to put people down to make yourselves feel like you’re doing something. You put me down, you put the developers at Pixo down, you put Windows down, you even try to inflate other companies images to put Pixo down as a company.
Aurick has made every effort to keep you guys informed on the latest development for the Mac release but so many of you just keep insisting on an official release date, official release, and barking up the same tree (even after Aurick gives you the 411). Give it a rest already, seriously.
I am well aware that the squeaky wheel gets the grease but if we’re talking about wheels, you might as well be a cog in it. You’re not giving these guys the honest credit they deserve for working their butt off to give you a Mac release. If you want a release, be patient…
Imagine if Aurick had to post everyday to tell you guys about how the beta testing was going, he wouldn’t be doing anything else. Aurick has done more for this community than anyone else and you guys continue to poke and prod at him like he’s here to swaddle you.

Just watched “On the Beach.” Haven’t seen that old flick in many years, but it has new meaning for me now. Among other things:
At the very end we see an empty street. An evangelist’s banner flapping in the wind over the steps of a public building reads, “There’s still time, brother.” Great, except that everyone is now dead.
At a deserted power plant in San Diego a coke bottle hanging on a wind swept window shade taps out endless dots and dashes on a morse key, offering slim but futile hope to the world that someone somewhere might still be alive.
Kind of reminds me of this forum.

This is a great conference to inspire some free thinking:

More constructive than complaining
Is that your way of telling us that we all are crazy for believing in a ZBrush 3 for Mac?

Does anyone else see something completely hypocritical about this or is it just me??
Don’t let Kosher bother you. He’s just cranky because he hasn’t had his nap.
Tit for tat. What say you about the rest of what I said?
Has anyone had a chance to check the new books for screen captures that may be from a new version.
I can understand that Pic would be supportive of any book release even somewhat outdated, but if they were going to release a surprise update on both or even the Mac version only, the 3rd party book developer would really want to have waited for what we have been suggesting, hoping, is a release this 3rd quarter…I’m being kind!
Again, coming out of this industry, I don’t think this supports the idea of a surprise ZB4. Indeed for all those Win users, I don’t know that I’d be looking for a new version for some time either. While everyone will benefit new books, traditionally these should have been out after a version release…a year ago, not just before what should be, and expected to be a new release cycle.
You never answered my question about the restaurant scenario. How about an answer to that?
Since I don’t have Z3 to play with yet, I’ll waste more precious time and answer your insults again. Then it will be your turn again to come back at me with more wild accusations, right? Do I understand the rules of the game clearly? Okay? Good.
No, I don’t think we are being big babies for wanting to receive some official information from time to time, along with some compassion, and a little courtesy regarding a product we have invested both time and money in, that many of us rely on for making a living. I’ve had customers get much angrier at me at my job for much less. So much less. It’s been over a year. Over a year! This is a very competitive field, and we are falling farther and farther behind our PC counterparts. We could be making something that could potentially generate income instead of sitting here trading insults with you again, and again.
We’re not asking for special treatment, only equal treatment.
