LWCAD surprised us with an upgrade so I have installed it and will be going through the tutorials. That will keep my busy.

it seems like Pixologic is run by the current executive branch of the United States. they lie, misinform, and fail to do their job over and over, yet they still manage to keep this small “base” of supprters swinging from their nuts. i am going to guess they have Karl Rove doing PR for them

at this point i really would not care. i would rather have been told it will be ready October 5, or the 10th, or the 30th and actually had it be ready on that day versus saying it will be ready again and not having it
if they were smart the would have said it would be ready the 5th and then ‘suprised’ everyone by sending out the updates early.
I watched Little Britain USA this weekend, and subsequently checked out all the other Lou and Andy sketches I could find, and kind of found similarities between the users (us, or Lou) and Pixologic (Andy).
A common exchange with Pixologic is Lou saying, “Now, Andy, your Homepage does say the release date is September 29th. Are you sure you’ll be able to make it?” Andy responds, “Yeah, I know!” The next day Lou asks, “So, Andy, yesterday was the deadline. You missed it.” “Yeah I know!”

Vovin, I agree. Something I try to live by is “Undercommit and Overperform”. It’s better to say you’ll do something by a certain date and then finish it earlier. It makes you look good and people start to rely on you and feel they can put their confidence in you.
UHHMM. Pixologic, about that so called December release of ZBrush 3.5. Well… why not tell us it will be ready on December 31 and then release it a week before… See how impressed it make your customers feel about you.

Even in the rsvp email response it says that today is the day, so they haven’t missed the real release date, just the fake one that’s all over the billboards…strange I know, but they did tell us.
What if everything worked that way? Those that knew all the actual dates of important events would be like a secret society. Normal people that read the huge signs and ads would miss out on everything from voting to movie releases! That’s why I’m going trick or treating this year on November 1st…at 8 a.m…that’s the time man…spread the word…NO ONE will have candy on October 31st, just in case you didn’t get the email…
Does anyone else think Michael Bay is sitting in his office somewhere shouting “Where’s Zbrush 3 dammit?!?! They said the 29th! Screw it, I didn’t even want to make Transformers 2.”
