The thing about it, too, is that the ZBrush Mac community is full of potentially great ZBrusher’s. I’m sure many of us will become better zartists than we would’ve if we had it all along. We’ve been waiting for it so long, we’ll probably all vanish for months on end in caves zbrushing, growing long beards and losing touch with friends, family, and life itself…
Yeah, they are a bit like the boy who cried wolf too many times. I don’t know why I’m feeling guardedly optimistic today. I shouldn’t expect too much. I just would like to think Pixo knows by now that they can’t keep dangling the carrot forever.

The only thing is we are not even on the ladder, we will need a help to get on the lowest rung!

I bought Z2 in August 2006. Saw it at Siggraph; the way Pixo touted the never released 2.5, I thought it would be out in a couple of months… Wrong!
Pixo makes cool stuff, but their organization needs some basic training in integrity. You can lie to people only for only a little while. Brand loyalty is based on integrity.
Every time Pixo lies they dilute and damage the Pixologic brand.
There are several softwares that can do some of what ZBrush does. Some of these products sell for hundreds less than ZBrush. Eventually, Silo will do everything ZBrush does at the rate that program is being developed.
Pixo needs to learn to admit publicly that they have broken a promise, every time it happens. …and apologize. That is the only way integrity can be restored.
The only thing you really have in this life is your word. When you don’t keep it, you have nothing. No one will trust you or believe you.
Pixo needs to wake up!

This is not the first nor the last time they will let us down. So I won’t be surprise if we don’t hear anything today. I just don’t trust them any more, and they will never get another cent from me without the goods on hands first.
Whelp, it turns out the big “mac” announcement was that McCain announced his running mate is a woman. Pixo mistakenly thought his name was spelled MacCain instead of McCain. Their bad.
Well, I’m actually building a PC for off rendering and to run Mudbox 2009. I’ll just network the Mac and PC together. Pixo has just dropped the ball too many times. Nothing personal but its business. Announcement was suppose to be last Friday…nothing today either…guess who gets my money now.
i reckon they’ll post a news release at the end of their day and leave us to sift over the text…a word ata time all weekend long…
with pixologic chaps having a nice break over the weekend as we go nuts…waiting to talk to them on monday about more details!

pixologic, you are so bloody lucky that mudbox doesnt have a mac version.
because if they did, your forums would die because there would no longer be any mac users bitching about you.
on another note (im probbaly mentioning something forbidden).
why hasnt mudbox released a mac version. when you release a product whcih is dominated by something else (in this case zbrush) surly you would seek untapped markets, and the mac community is untapped (zbrush 2 does not stand up to standards once you use zbrush 3). so why hasnt mudbox released a mac version either?
its come to the point now that when pixelogic annouce a date for zbrush mac, they will not be meet with thanks and applause , but with comments going from " took your bloody time" to the more extreme end of " i gave up caring you ****ing ****s".
