Boo!! What’s taking so long? I’m getting tired of Pixologic’s suggested release dates.
It is not yet business hours on the west coast and anytime I hame my development staff do something like this I always had everyone in the office to handle situations that might come up. For those who were expecting them to have things up last night for this morning… they would not have anyone available in case of a problem. So you say not even a single worker… well just think about how many hits, questions, etc that will be coming up once they make a statement. Even Aurick needs sleep before a big day.

I don’t even own a Mac or Apple computer! I keep coming back here like a brain-washed fan of Lost…wondering when the whole thing will end while simulatneoulsy asking myself why I am watching. ROFLs.

Well, I’m here in same situation as oR_Creeper. Snacks everywhere, I can’t pull off my butt from a couch, wondering how this all will end…

I learned long ago that Pixologic doesn’t work with a schedule in mind. So I really wouldn’t be surprised if midnight comes and goes and nothing happens. If it were any other company: apple, microsoft, nintendo, sony, etc.; and they had promised a massive press release for an eagerly anticipated product, and it would be revealed at a certain hour on a certain day… and they totally spaced it, and forgot to post it, everybody would be screaming their heads off.
But when it comes to Pixologic it’s an absolute fact that it’ll be late (or in the case of 3.1) won’t happen at all. It would be surprising if Pixologic actually did what they say. Hell, I remember when Siggraph was a couple months off and we were more or less promised a peek before then, but if that didn’t happen, there would HAVE to be something on Siggraph.
What did we get? A couple pictures of a Pixo booth advertising the old software, and later that night a message from Aurick saying, “Don’t worry! 3.5! Soon! This weekend! I promise!”
That was three weeks ago.
If I ran an organization with such a lax scheduling system I’d fire my a$$.
The Mac users in this forum are like disadvantaged ZBC citizens…standing on the lowest rung of the ZBrush community ladder. I am here to see how Pixo handles those poor misfortunate souls. I too may be one some day.

I would hope they wouldn’t think of doing something that cruel at this stage in the game. The day isn’t over yet, so it’s still too early to hit the panic button. I guess we’ll just continue to play the waiting game a while longer…
This is the fifth timeframe given for this announcment alone that I know of.
It wouldn’t suprise me in the slightest if this one is missed aswell.
