Foward the dead email that you got from Cleverbridge. The one with your Cleverbridge reference number.

Man, I can’t wait to dig in to these unexpected new features! That rocks! Does “Increase Polygon Count” just mean it can handle higher polycounts under the same system, as I would assume? I guess it could be a feature that adds polygons without doubling the count. Either sounds like good times to me.

It means that the same system can handle more polygons than previously. For most models this is probably going to be equivalent to one more subdivision level. Depending on the model and your system specs, though, individual mileage may vary.

A year ago the economy was much better off… so that could actually be a good thing… in a glass half full sort of way.

So am I waiting for an email from cleverbridge? This is what I got when I followed my link from Pixologic:

There has been a problem while processing your delivery. We are already working on this
technical issue and may be waiting for information from the software publisher, which may
cause short delay. At the latest, this should be solved within 1-2 workdays, although it is
generally much less. We will contact you immediately via e-mail upon resolving the issue
and apologize for any inconvenience.

I got the same reply…
I wondered if it was because my address has changed since I first bought Z

Perhaps not?

I received this same message in a email from cleaverbridge, but the download link was not active. So now I’ve sent this back to them for the next step to happen.
The second email had the same message as the web page did.

This was a couple hours ago.

Ok has everyone gotten an email from pixo/cleverbridge? I know their going out in a list but im just checking?

I haven’t yet… but I signed up pretty late. I never even got a confirmation.

Got the dead email… foreworded that one back to Cleverbridge…

The real question… has anyone gotten a response from that email yet?

Thanks Gorsiski, gives me hope it isn’t an issue that needs clarified on my account. I guess we’ll see.

First, try the upgrade link again. It will probably not work, which is good because that means that your upgrade account was indeed created. (If it does work, then just go through the steps again.)

Second, if the upgrade link didn’t work (meaning that you do have an upgrade account now), wait for an email from Cleverbridge. That email will contain your reference number. It may also contain your download link and serial number. If it does, then download and install.

If the email with your reference number DOESN’T have a download link or serial number, forward that email to [email protected] and ask them to refresh your account so that you can get the missing info. They’ll get you taken care of.

I have received an email from Cleverbridge that basically is a dupe of the download page with the Cleverbridge Reference number and the error message in place of the download link.

So the system is sending out emails.

At this point I would assume that another email with a working link will be sent?

Frankly I’m supprised I received a notice this soon, I did not sign up for the upgrade right away and thus thought I’d be in the 2nd or 3rd batch.

Perhaps that’s the problem? Too many in one batch overloading the system.

Back to burning stock certificates. :frowning:

Not all upgrades have been sent out yet. Give it up to 48 hours before you start to get worried. We have to send them in batches in order to avoid overtaxing the servers – and as last night shows, the first batch was actually too big.

It will take time to get them all sent.

As per my instructions in the OP of this thread, forward that email to [email protected] and ask them to refresh your account to generate the download link and serial number.

Thanks Aurick. I appreciate you staying on top of all of this. With the trouble we have been giving you, I bet it feels good to be able to give us info that is available.

Cheers Aurick, thats all I needed, hopefully things arn’t too stressful at the moment

I just had a thought about all of this. Since it appears that distribution is the big issue; I wonder if in fact this was the problem all along. It would make a lot of sense given Pixologic’s track record pre 2007 that they just wouldn’t want to throw Cleverbridge under the bus.

When we order new hardware from our hosting supplier it can take up to 30 days to get it online and configured.

Just a thought. Anyhow, placed my order on the 29th, just got the response to my upgrade request. Still haven’t gotten a license file for ZB2 so, absolutely no zbrushing for me at all… :frowning:

Aurick,

Just wondering if downloading from the store is any faster. If I buy a copy of ZBrush 3.12 for mac today from the store. How long until the download is available? Will I be able to download it right away or will I be waiting for a few days/hours etc.

Thanks

Aurick,

What are the chances of getting in the first couple of batches if I submitted the registration form on August 29th??
