Mac OS X 3.12 Upgrade Support Center - Read Initial Post Before Posting

[EDITED BY MODERATOR]

This thread is for any questions or problems regarding the new release of ZBrush 3.12 for Mac OS X.

Please keep your posts constructive and thorough so that we can assist you as promptly as possible. It is recommended that you read the before posting: [http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=20338](http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=20338) Thanks! Important: The following is a current update of the most common support questions and answers. Please check here before posting. Upgrade Issues: Upgrade requests sent to "][email protected] are compiled into a batch at 4:00 pm each day (Pacific time). That batch is then delivered to Cleverbridge so that they can generate and send upgrade links throughout the night.

1. Check your spam filter and junk mail folder. It’s possible that you DID get the email, but it got filtered away from your inbox. The email will be from Cleverbridge; NOT from Pixologic.
2. If you have verified that the email is not present, please email [email protected]. Include the following info:

• Your Order ID/Cleverbridge Reference Number (if purchased through the Pixologic store).
• The name of the reseller you purchased through (if purchased through a reseller).
• The name that was used for the purchase.
• The email address that was used for the purchase.
• Any other info that might help us locate your account.

3. We will manually process/re-process your upgrade request with the new info.
4. The cut off for inclusion in any day’s batch is 4:00 pm Pacific time, and upgrade links should be resent that night. Any requests received after that time will have to wait until the following night.
5. If you already emailed Mac3Support once regarding not having received your upgrade link, it is not necessary to email again. Your request will be processed as quickly as possible.

Activation Issues:

• If you receive an error when activating ZBrush, make sure you’re choosing the “Web Activation” option. Your serial number will not work with the “Activation Code” option.
• There is no letter O in any serial number. It is ALWAYS going to be the number 0.

• If you do a web activation and receive a message that the email address does not match, please email [email protected]. Include your Cleverbridge reference number so that we can locate your account and resolve the issue.
• If you do a web activation and then receive an email with no attachment, try the following:
•
• See here: http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/showpost.php?p=494322&postcount=294
• Open the email in your ISP’s web browser client. It should then show the attachment.

• If you still have the web activation page open you can copy the activation code from that page into ZBrush by clicking the Activation Code button on the activation screen.

• Restart ZBrush. If activation has not been completed, it will return to the activation screen. Choose web activation again and fill out the form. You will be told that ZBrush has been activated for that machine and be asked if you’d like to resend the activation key. Say yes, at which point you’ll also be given a screen with the activation code. Copy that code and enter it into ZBrush after clicking the Activation Code button.

• If you have a different activation problem not covered by the above, please contact [email protected]
•
Home Use Clause:

The EULA clause allowing two computers to be activated provided that both copies aren't actually used at the same time is still in effect. However, in order to help alleviate server stress, all 3.12 copies are currently going out with one available activation. The second one will be added automatically in the coming days. If you NEED the second activation before then, please contact [email protected] with your cleverbridge reference number and your serial number. We'll help you out. Error Reports: If you encounter an error with any ZBrush 3.12 feature (not upgrade or activation issues), please see the reporting instructions here: [http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/announcement.php?f=8](http://www.zbrushcentral.com/zbc/announcement.php?f=8) Thank you for your patience! Problems related to server stress will iron themselves out as more people get upgraded and activated successfully. We and Cleverbridge are closely monitoring the servers in order to avoid as many problems as possible.

Did you receive the upgrade email and got that problem or did you buy the application now?

Heu,no I just change my address , because I’m not living in the same place as before… and poum… error.

I don’t put the link of course… and blam …

Sorry for this…

I’m an old customer, and I was waiting for ever… and blam, I wanna cry again, but I know now I can wait for one more year, ha ha…

No its free for me… I have a license.

Look at Smileman… nicolas jeanbourquin everything is ok !

See ya soon !

I don’t have change my address but I have recived the same warning…
Another waiting…

yeah i got the 'problem processing ’ email too … Bugger…
will my next email tell me where to download z3 from ?
ive got my cleverbridge code so far (z2 was much more fun)
prosthetix…

so has anyone actually got it up and running ?

I have the same cleverbridge failure… ARRRG!

Up to now I have received nothing…I am hoping that someone has it & is so excited using it they can’t be bothered to post a reply on here.

Trying to maintain a patient attitude and not create any unnecessary negative vibes.

A bit curious but seems like people have this problem too.

Mine, has 3 licenses, all got the error.

Have to wait for their resolve.

If it was a farce before, it has now turned into the grotesque! shame on you Pixologic

I got the error , too!!
“Problem processing the order…fixed in 1-2 work days (but usually takes less)”
I also had to change some of my info from 3 years ago, but it sounds like that doesn’t matter. I hope that if ANYONE GETS A DOWNLOAD, THEY’LL POST SOMETHING!! So far, nothing.

I’m amazed to see that more people are not posting here right now.
As far as I’ve seen, not one person has had any success.

As angry as I’d be, I would be very interested to know if anyone has been able to purchase and download the software.
I’d also love to hear from Pixo that they are aware and working on the problem, or at least trying to figure out what the problem is.

Not yet. I also got the error but when I clicked on the download for the attachment on the email from cleverbridge that said the file was 54 MB a disk image downloaded with the install.
The only problem is the system has forgotten the email address the information was sent to so it can’t activate yet,

John

I am investigating the issue, and will let you know when I have an answer from Cleverbridge.

I have the problem as well. I thought it was because I updated my phone number. I thought I’d be the only one with the issue. At least I’m not alone.

Same Cleverbridge Fail. Back to waiting, sucks, and I’m out of town Thursday morning to Monday afternoon.

I don’t see any point in going mad/mental over this, I think people are aware it changes nothing after waiting a year for it, and at least Aurick is acknowledging the situation & trying to address the issue.

Nice, OK. Can you post a bigger screenshot though? Maybe one we can read?

Hey, at least, when they DO get it running for you, it will have all those new goodies! Some of that stuff sounds damn cool!
