Mac OS X 3.12 Upgrade Support Center - Read Initial Post Before Posting

I have 4Gigs installed and ZB shows 3010MB free, while the System and other launched programs are using about 1500MB, including Zbrush. So Zbrush is recognizing all my RAM. :slight_smile:

Hmmmm I have 8Gb installed & ZB is showing 2780Mb free with no tools loaded, Safari must be using the rest… :wink:

Is there a memory limit ZB 3.12 can use???

I haven’t gotten ZBrush yet, but if it is 64bit you might have to switch on. Find ZBrush in your application folder and hit get info. Then click the ā€œopen in 64bit modeā€ checkbox if it exists. Your activity monitor would also then say 64bit intel in the far right column.

Is anyone still waiting for the initial download email? I have gotten NOTHING :frowning:

all i have is my case number, and i got that a while back. no emails from pixologic, or cleverbridge since the 29th.

I should be one of the manual ones. I couldnt have been that far back o nthe list?? I filled it out on 8/29 :frowning:

I haven’t even gotten a case #. I just got an email saying that they got my request. I sent my information in as per Aurick’s earlier post, but still nothing.

I don’t understand how I could not have automatically gotten the email, since they sent me the confirmation one - and I never changed any of my info.

Well I’ve mailed the support with my details - nothing else left to do but wait.

Now 10:00pm in UK on the 2nd…

i got a confirmation that they received my request, but never got a link from cleverbridge. just sent a support email in. Hoping I will be able to install by this weekend.

I’ve just received my download. Just need to activate it.

Many ISP’s automatically screen what they perceive as mass mailings. That means that the confirmation email sent from your initial upgrade request would go through, but the email blasts that sent out the various upgrade links could be blocked. So it’s not surprising that quite a number of people would not have received the upgrade links.

Thank all those spammers out there that have made ISP’s get so drastic, will you? :wink:

Anyway, for anyone who has not received your upgrade link yet, simply follow the instructions in the first post of this thread. We will get you taken care of as quickly as we can. There’s no need to keep posting in here that you haven’t gotten your email yet because we’re not able to use your ZBC member name as a way to handle your upgrade.

I got the download message and indeed did download and install it but when attempting to activate it the dreaded message of incorrect email was received.

I just cannot believe that they have not solved this issue yet.
I have another wait now.

Please do NOT report bugs on the forum at this time. We want to get them squashed as quickly as we can. For this reason, the first post in this thread has specific instructions for how to report a bug to us in a way that will help us help you. :slight_smile:

In your case, I would recommend also sending one of your (smaller) ZTL files along with your bug report so that we can use it for tests.

One of the most common problems that we’re encountering is people with a zero in the serial number mistakenly typing it as a letter O. There is no letter O in any ZBrush 3.12 serial number. It’s always a 0.

If that doesn’t resolve your problem, do an email activation and change the address it’s being sent to. Use [email protected] so that I can get you taken care of right away.

hey aurick, i do not wish to flood the mac3 email you posted.

when you posted that all upgrade links have gone out, and if we have not received them to email that address, I did so (about 2 hours ago).

Have those been processed yet? I didn’t know what subject to put so I typed in:

I’m not necessarily complaining, just stating what happened, in case you think I need to resend, or the line of emails is so staggering, it will be a while longer.

ps, my email provider is gmail, and I only use the web interface. (incase that matters)

AFAIK, ZBrush is a 32-bit app, so it will use up to 4GB by itself. However, I’m not sure how much of it is multithreaded.

I’m in the same boat as you. Hope they can figure it out ASAP.
