anyone else waiting for their download link
can vote for my shirt design on DBH

Now that I actually have two MacIntel machines, I’m interested in updating my ‘‘home’’ laptop install as well. I use it for learning and tutorials which I like to do away from the Studio. As I recall, I had to send a request to Mathew for the second machine, and there were no problems running it on two machines.

Edit;
Wow, Aurick is fast.

I will wait a few days on the 2nd machine request too.

Again, no weirdness here, but my system specs may be helpful in starting to root out the cause of the problems you’re having.

Dual Quad-Core MacPro
6 Gb ram
ATI Radeon HD 2600 (stock) 256MB VRAM
30" Cinema HD
MacOS 10.5.2 (I haven’t updated yet, and depending on your specs, I may not)

Hope this helps!

Haven’t had any problems with non-proportional resizing either. Must be my lucky day (knock wood).

Wow!

They’ve got 18 pages so far in the troubleshooting thread.

Honestly, I was actually being funny. I know there is no way on earth that will be address for another year or so.

Running great on my MacBookPro (Core2 Duo) 2.5Ghz, 4GB ram, 512MB GPU + 1680x1050 2nd Display, Wacom Cintiq 12wx (with both, Grip Pen and 6D Pen). Leopard 10.5.5 and latest Wacom driver. :+1: :+1:

I suspect that the key to happy Zbrushing is lots of CPU ram and lots of GPU ram.

 Yes, I agree, complaining is exactly what makes a man tough. I would’ve complained too, but I was scared they would take it personal and cancel the app! You rebel! :stuck_out_tongue:

Why I’m waiting for my email from Cleverbridge, can I get ride of my windows ZBrush and windows/parallels also, or do I need some of that data to install?

Also can anyone tell me the best way to remove parallels

Thanks

You should be able to continue to use ZB3 in Parallels since it is in a separate VM.

Use the Parallels UnInstaller to get rid of it. (if not on your HD then it’s in the Parallels Installer Disk Image.)

Hey Don, fellow Virginian. (I’m in Fairfax)

Hey, someone close, when you have a chance email me direct, or use my phone number off my site and call, would love to talk to another, can’t say that, ZBrusher, I’m just starting. Senior member, is that age, or number of posts!!! Just kidding doesn’t matter.

…Finally working now. Thank you Matthew.
Just the issue with the missing keyfile in the mail should be resolved for other users. Apples Mail software doesn’t show any attachment here…

Ouchies man, I say ouchies. I’m like a republican: I do things and don’t bother to think them through:)

Yep, I’m still waiting for my initial email. registered on the 30th of August, got my confirmation on the 2nd… also a 1.55 user, but have been running 3 via parallels for the past year… I’m assuming I’ll be mac native by the end of today.

Maybe I’ve forgotten how it works (it’s been so long!), but is the Edge Loop button working? It’s greyed out all the time, no matter what kind of geometry I’ve got loaded.

All upgrade emails have now been sent. However, we had a lot come back as undeliverable. If you have not received your upgrade link yet, please do the following:

  1. Check your spam filter and junk mail folder. It’s possible that you DID get the email, but it got filtered away from your inbox. The email will be from Cleverbridge; NOT from Pixologic.
  2. If you have verified that the email is not present, please email [email protected]. Include the following info:

    • Your Order ID/Cleverbridge Reference Number (if purchased through the Pixologic store).
    • The name of the reseller you purchased through (if purchased through a reseller).
    • The name that was used for the purchase.
    • The email address that was used for the purchase.
    • Any other info that might help us locate your account.

  3. We will manually process/re-process your upgrade request with the new info.
Please be patient! Manual processing is just that: manual. It will take us time to track down the problem that prevented receipt of your upgrade instructions and then get them resent to you. We are working as quickly as we can, but it’s unrealistic to expect an immediate response.

Hmm…did I mention that I was expecting a reply at the weekend?

False assumptions, kid.

Thanks Aurick, I just sent along all my info… I have been checking my junk folder etc.

I’m a little confused… and not for the first time…

I haven’t received any download link at all, and the log for my email address doesn’t show any bounced email from Pixologic or Cleverbridge. As I paid and registered for ZBrush in December 2007 via Cleverbridge I think I fall into what Aurick called category 1 - automatic update. My email address is the same now as it was then.

Having said that, I didn’t fill in the upgrade form until three days ago, although I looked at it weeks back and thought ‘that doesn’t seem to apply to my situation’. I’ve had an acknowledgement of the upgrade application, and a subsequent case number/holding message, but from Aurick’s recent post it sounds as though I should have heard about the download before now.

Any clarification?

cheers

Mark
