Not sure which point you are responding to, Zmapper or the Mask Key invoking the Cursor Palette and not painting but thanks for responding.
I narrowed the mask problem to the KB configurations. Maybe it’s a wacom problem. When I disable the main click in Windows XP and use the button on the stylus the masks works again. The problem is when I press "Control " the draw pallette and the Mask (yellow) cursor would invoke, but the mask would not paint. I would have to control, click then let go of the control but inorder to paint the mask.
In this case I am a bit sensitive, and so would you if you felt f… in the abeeep by pixologic like I and probarbly many if not all of the mac users do.
They have had my money in 1 year now, and the only reason I bought it a year ago, was becuase of the promise of a release date shortly after the PC release…
Now that suggest a release within a short amount of time after the PC release, but that wasnt the case. Even the bloody release date they promised hasn’t been given.
Okay, I have had the option of using it on a pc in the meantime, but on paralles some things dont work, its slow as hell to start, and its not optimal. also it requires that I spent money on a XP license, one I had already tho but still…
Basicly I feel like I have been butf***** thoroughly - so maybe this thread is not the place to start a pc vs mac rant!.

If you are a polynerd, use your time to make some ART we can learn from. We have a lot to learn when ZB3 is coming, THANKS!
But it will take some time, the beta-testers are just starting. Mac-users are always fast (because of the exelent hard- software), so we do not have to wait long:-)

The issue is not a mac v pc problem but rather short memories from our pc owning brethren. 
Think back almost a year when the boards were full of people champing at the bit waiting for Zbrush 2.5, moaning about how many years its taken to develop etc etc etc. Think back to those days then put on your compassion hat and remember Mac users have waited almost another year.
So no its not about Mac users having no sense of humour its people forgetting where they were last year and instead of understanding the frustrations of a few… Well you get the picture.
Looking forward to putting into practice what i have learned by reading and video watching.
Hopefully not much longer.

yeah I know, I used to have them myself, so now I don’t really care about the PC vs MAc things, except when they come in places where they absolutely dont belong.
Ohh and btw, I will never come back to PC unless im am forced (Apple go bankrupt) - but nothing indicates that 
- no more of my money to Microsoft.
I say make the most of the time we have left before release, visit relatives & friends now as when ZB arrives we can lock ourselves away without guilt…
I know that this isn’t necessarily the problem, but you can switch the ctrl/cmd keys using the swap function in Parallels Desktop (build 5584+) preferences. When I was using bootcamp, I had to remap those keys using a remapping program.
Also, If you’ve had your wacom for too long (I’ve had mine since 2000), sooner or later you need to either clean or replace the pen if it starts to stick really bad. I’ve been really hard on mine and I’m currently on my third pen. I could never figure out how to clean them properly so I’d often have to just get a new one after they start malfunctioning and sticking too bad. When I say sticking, I mean when you click with the pen and it never releases from it (unless you shake it or wait awhile). You’ll notice the sticking easily if you’re using side-switch expert mode/click and tap.
It doesn’t make any sense to start fighting here!

Yes! I’m a mac user, so what? I mean, what does a PC user concern if the mac people are disappointed because of this huge delay?
I spent my money also like many others for the Zbrush 3.1 License because of that “promise”…
Actually there were never a promise, but also never an anouncement that the mac version wouldn’t be available at MAY 15th of that year!
The worse thing is the inability of Pixologic to maintain the mac community informed about the development process and efforts or problems.
Yes, sure I could buy a XP license for using it with parallels, but I don’t want to.
It doesn’t works! You can open Zbrush, but you CAN’T work with it!
And, I’m not going to buy a PC only because of Zbrush, it doesn’t matter how much do I like this peace of software!
I ended up buying a license for modo. And I have to tell “MODO ROCKS!”
I already gave up waiting for pixologic.
This people made an incredible Tool, but thats all.
And I really regret buying Zbrush.
I WANT MY MONEY BACK!
I’m not going to wait anymore, and I’m going to write an e-mail to pixologic regarding this!
I understand that such a tool is tons of work!
What I really don’t understand is the lack of service and the lack of information and respect against the people who also payed for something they haven’t got yet.
And these for more than one year!

I worked hard to buy my mac, and also my useless Zbrush License.
I was a PC guy, but for two year I changed, and I’m not going back dude!

I suggest you to be patient, if you can.
I was having that thought too, as I was writing my frustration down! 
I was like, alright, now you are writing this down and tomorrow Zbrush might be out and then everything is going to be just embarrassing
