Great Piece Of Work, The Muscle Anaatomy Is Superb, Well Done
This is so cool, and excellent, I am amazed by the anatomy, the detail in the hands, the face, wow, its inspiring when such control in Zbrush is shown.
WOw…I like this cool anathomy…
very nice work on the details, I think that the leg might need more seperation cause it looks a bit like a thick log than a more seperated segment. also as far as details go on the face, the brow line in particular, even if this is a fantasy beast, I dunno if he would have wrinkle marks going both verticle and horizontal, its anatomically impossible to make that expression so its somewhat confusing. But this is just my nit picking as usual, great awsome work.
optimusDinkus: i don’t mind cunstructive criticism - but i don’t understand your comments. maybe draw a pic would make sense. if you’re refering to the rinkles on his forhead then i disagree - even regular humans have wrinkles like that. tho it might be exaggerated
here’s the latest head grab btw. i did this before going on vacation couple weeks ago. i’m gonna be buried in non personal work for a while but plan to finish this dude up and pose him.
cheers
so he can squint his eye brows and raise them at the same time? see what I mean, try doing it in the mirror, thats it though, I mean it is possible to make those expressions as a human but not at the same time, thats all really. And understand this is really being picky on my part
ok i think i see what you’re saying - i wasn’t being sarcastic- i seriously didn’t get it. but yeah - those are perminant rinkles in the forehead like an old person gets. the brow is modeled in a slight snarl. if the brow was to raise the forehead would have much deeper rolling wrinkles horizontally - like with an older face. maybe i’m still missing your point. in any case the final will have a much less ambiguous expression…
yes it is possible for a human face to squint(if by squint you mean pull to the center) and raise the brow. i didn’t have to go look in the mirror either
i still don’t get the leg comment- but i’m interested in what you mean. already got some very helpful crits…
GREAT HULK!
Opti-the forehead wrinkle pattern is VERY common in humans. You develop those wrinkle patterns not from doing two expressions at the same time but rather the creases form from each separate expression. So one set of lines is form horizontally from the brow raise and another set forms vertically from a furrowed brow.

allrighty, I see what you mean, I didnt know exactly. Understand Im just trying to help thats all (didnt mean to come off as sarcastic =). I also dont mean squinting, I mean like if it was possible to lower your eye brows, and raise them at the same time in a sense cause he shows tension like hes lowering his eye brows, but has lines showing hes tensing them up as well.
couple hours of fun. this render is in Z
Absolutely astonishing! Wonderful. Some strange creases around the knuckles of his left hand, though, where you’d expect the skin to be taut. Trick of the light, maybe?
AMAZING !!!
you are great, man !!! wonderful pose and sculpt !!!
so utterly cool!!! although as stated already- the left knuckle is a bit strange…but i still love it!!
yo that knuckle was definitly funkdafied - thanks. there was a wierd ridge and the pinky knuckle was way out of whack. here are somemore views. gonna try to put somemore time into this today so crits most welcome.
p.s. hulk smash
