Very nice work!

3D print it! Mold it. Sell it!

Well done Matt, waiting for updates

Wicked modeling, flawless…

That would be like critiquing Leonardo Dicaprio (or whatever his name was) for his painting of ‘Moaning Lisa’ (or whatever her name was), or God (or whatever his name was) for Victoria Falls (or whatever her name was)! Seriously that is one of the best most amazing models I have EVER seen. I would use a superlative if they had invented one of an appropriate level of awe, but they haven’t ,so I’m afraid you’ll have to settle for incredible!

Love your work on your site too!

:sunglasses: :+1: :+1: Well done!

Now that looks like Hulk! Ah the memories of youth, ‘Hulk Smash’!

Great modeling and nice style ! A good piece of work ! :+1:

excellent modeling. Nothing to crit.

Great model!
At what Level you export this model to maya?

Ralf Stumpf

mattcioffi, amazing model, Did you made your base mesh In Maya, then Used ZBrush to detail It???

Everybody here, I’m pretty sure, would like to know your work flow on this!

Maybe you can make a tutorial, on how you go about using Maya and ZBrush together!!!

Using MR, Turtle, maya render, MTOR, ??? What do you use for your Displacement In Maya???

Wow, I’m speacless, I have no comments, He just looks great!!!

Cheers!
Jonny

Real nice work. Definetely gives me the hulk feeling.

The only thing i would crit is that it feels like he’s a bit pointy in the crotch area.
I don’t know if that makes sense but it just feels like he comes to a point there. He just doesn’t feel as massive as he should.

Awesome! The hands and feet in particular are sensational. :+1:

thanks!

jimpajammer: maybe headed for a print. just had to print a model a few projects back – i love that stuff. my dream purchases are a 3dlazer scanner and a 3dprinter --wooot.

stumpf: it depends on the model – for this i’ll probably go with level2. the above posts are level5 raw geo in maya just for previewing purposes. everything i do is for animation even if it nevers gets aniamated :D. i’ve been enjoying your posts quite a bit btw:+1: :+1: sweet m&s project.

knighSoul: i start in maya - and actually go back and forth alot too. mostly cuz of the perspective issue in z. this guy isn’t rendered yet – but i use mr . there’s link on the top row that walks you threw it by scott spencer.

moebius: do you mean his waist looks too narrow? or do the shapes/muscles look funny there? - at first i thought you were talking about his uni ball:laughing:

thanks again – these are from a slightly earlier sculpt but same wire.

WOW !!!

superb, no words :sunglasses: :+1:

Outstanding! The anatomy is great. I like the attention to detail like the extensor muscles on the forearm and the soleus muscles in the calf especially in the rear view. Since you welcome critiques I would say there could be more arch in the foot, more of a convex look with the higher part of the arch on the inside and lower on the outside. The most outstanding tendon in the area where the lower leg meets the foot is the tibialus anterior’s tendon which is inserted on the big toe side. The peak of the arch is in that immediate area and slopes down toward the little toe side. All this would make the area where the foot arch meets the lower leg look more natural.

Keep in mind in this critique that you are in the very rare category in the entire 3D industry of people who can sculpt figures well.

superb definition all around, truly feels anatomally correct despite it’s exagerrated features. I’m very impressed with your base mesh aswell, very low poly and yet allowing you to enhance the muscular definition a great deal already at the next subdivision level. any chance of seeing the amount of detailing you added at the third subdivision?

ace stuff! :+1:

Really nice work there Matt!

im loving the form in the sculpt. and the balance of weight in the base mesh is great, it all comes together nicely!
It all looks very solid.

Very well done!

Scott

very inspiring work Mat. some of the best musculature i have seen in quite a while.

yo - i got sucked back up by the work vortex… updates sooon…

lm: ya i do welcome that kind of crit -thanks. i should be uploading better pics of feet soon

zork: thanks- yeah the mesh looks simple but it is very delibrate. check l3 for you. still relatively light -minus head.
