well here’s the requested wire… I’ve mostly worked on modeling today so no update on the sculpting for now [still have to model quite a lot of props and stuff …]

well a bit of an update on the ‘avid reader’ - a lot of changes in proportion and ‘props’ etc, not that much sculpting in the dress yet
also another little thing I’ve been having fun with - mostly to try polypainting and somehow from a simple head mesh it turned into this fella [still lots to be done

i dont know if u work in the cg industry but i would say yes. my question is if u also lay out the uv maps for ur models or are there specialists doing nothing else all day?
ubisoft montreal as your location deletes the first part of my question. now my new question is how you came there. did u study at some place like gnomon (if yes how did you finance it? i got one gnomon dvd and i must say i was bitterly dissapointed as the information it contained was by far not worth the money) or are you self thaught? how did you get into what i would call a dream job

a little progress on the lass - been busy with other stuff too…
and testing, testing while trying to decide on a color scheme - the hands have no texture and the face’s only an initial colour no spec so she’s a tad waxy and pale;) - as for the rest it’s just a plain colour for now… still have to finish sculpting
