That’s a cool concept, very generous with details, and the XSI model is already looking awesome! Looking forward to see how far you will push it in zbrush.

The wrinkles on his face look very natural and carefully placed. Did you detail it in one session?

Hi magda

That’s amazing

I like the last concept a lot

Could you please tell us how did you make the texturing for that head

Thanks… :+1: :+1:

GoofyFoot - thank you!

undoz - thanks very much! No I didn’t do it all in one go… spent a couple of days on it  [with breaks as time allowed]

Mohamed - thanks very much  It’s a projection done using Zapplink and some work in photoshop later… I just projected the 3dsk image from front and side and after that used both as base for the texture.

Wow, the details on the face is great and the stitches look awesome. The hard body is also very nice…can’t so see more

ooo thnx my friend
keep it up
… u r just an amazing artst

TezZy - thanks very much  will hopefully post some more soon [little time to work on that one I fear and I’ve been mostly messing around with the shaders for now]

Mohamed - thanks a lot

decided to finally finish a little anatomy study of mine … worked a bit on it this weekend. Not done yet but a bit closer [there’s hope ;)]. Cheers!

Nice! Good pose.

There might be 2 little things that would make it even better:

The left ankle seams a bit big compare to the right one.
The inner line of the forearm from front view is really straight. Just a bit of variation would help.

But I’m just being picky here. The whole thing looks great.

I agree with your crits Max. Otherwise, awesome study of anatomy. It’s great to see captured human imperfections with ZBrush. So often, you see these chiseled warriors or perfect looking people, when it’s the imperfections that bring out the character to me. I even liked the thumbnail.:+1:

He’s looking very nice Magda,

the arm that supports the weight of his head and rests on his leg:
the elbow/joined that touches his leg looks straight/strange…imho
His right feed/joint looks swollen

Keep it up
L

Thanks for the crits guys  I agree about that hand 100% and will work on it. As to the feet - hmm funny enough the real subject’s feet were uneven and swollen [he’s and old man with joint problems you know] but I guess I might tone it down a tad… thanks:+1:

really great start ! nice to see you testing diffrent styles…

Hi Mag,
Thought so, that’s why I used “swollen”…
he’s really looking great anyways !
