These final images are a perfect blend of past and present. I think they show something that is rare in 3D, restraint (something I need to work on) and more importantly, PIETY to those who have built this industry and made it what it is today. Keep em’ coming Monstermaker

A superb illustrative piece - also a joy to view your talent for landscape which on it’s own is beautifuly composed and balanced.
I’ve one constructive comment with regard colouration, which is to sample/select the reds in the shadows of the cyclop’s skin with Photoshop curves and lower the red and boost up the cyan a touch. Voila, perfection.
I pick at nits - I trust you’ll forgive me.

Wow that is really cool, you ever think about getting some of your 3D work Rapid Prototyped and casting some of them as limited edition collector pieces. Cool stuff. Alway been a fan of your creations, would love to interview you for a tv show I do in Raleigh, sometime.

Whoa! This is the first time I’ve viewed this site, and I am totally blown away! I grew up on HH flicks, largely because my older brother was an avid sci-fi & fantasy fan. Wonderful cyclops, love the background, will watch for more of Rick’s work.
I think you captured the cyclops perfectly the pose and attitude.

Dunno what so say, other than wow! A nice and clean model without going over the top with detail. The detail also works really well with the lighting. Looks almost effortlessly done.
