your best to date, love the fibermesh too
thanks daniele, and i am actually planning to create textures and high detail for him… the hair is not fibremesh, but blender hair
A wonderful sculpt as always Doris.
The hair is not fiber mesh, I can see it from miles away.
The ear needs some more love IMO.
thank you michalis… yes, the ears will receive the love that is needed, i plan to push this much further, as i want learn a workflow, that feels good for my needs, and leaves me the creative freedom i want, not so much worry about tech thingies. charly is the piece i am trying out everthing with and, i want him look as good as i can make him, so the ear will not be neglected …
don’t know blender at all
whoops, daniele i missed your post, sorry… well i think, blender is well worth a try, its a gread addition to zbrush, i love using them as combo…
like in this portrait, , the new zremesher for retopo, that was great, 4 guides, click, gave a perfect basemesh
Very nice. It looks like a real painting rather than a digital model. How do you get that look?
i think its the renderer combined with the way i defined the materials…, its rendered with cycles (inside blender)…thanks for the nice words.
Hi Kokoro,
As alway, lovely model and subtle render! Worth waiting for!
Cheers, David
thank you david! yes, its quite a different topic than what wee see here at zbc mostly, is it not … lol…
love the expression
very glad you like it
inspired by a greek sculpture, with a heavy modern touch …
Very nice… I quite like the faceted faces on the classic statue like this
thanks solidsnake, glad you like this effect, it was an experiment, i thought would look neat
Hi Kokoro, I knew this was yours from the the thumbnail. Really lovely sculpt! Always a pleasure to see your work!
All the best, David
wow, that is quite something! thank you, david!
What is the material? - Can you share how you rendered, texture map, etc?
Awesome… thanks
thank you nate owens. she is rendered in cycles (blender), i explained the material setup in my blog, here is a link to that post
Colleague congratulates!
Greek sculpture in a modern interpretation - very beautiful!
