ZBrush…I love you…

Amazing update as always !

Amazing, simply amazing.

I have hair and cinema4d , but any reason to not leave Zbrush is good for me. I like this addition , a lot of works in zbrush were always bald or the hair was presented by a full mesh like a doll. This will be great for a lot of ppl that just use zbrush as a creative tool, I understand pro’s wanting more stuff like retopotools, in one way , yes the industry needs it badly , but in another way it conflicts with zbrush’s philisophy. Which is clearly shown by the fact that instead of releasing some kind of better retopo tools, they added a way to not run into the problem of limited poly’s in a certain area instead.

This is an impressive feature but it is not clear what the dynamic and the rest of features a hair can have are like.
It also is noisy and does not have a suitable anti-aliasing but when it is improved it will be great esp that it contains plants which needs to be a bit improved .:cool:

while i did my last two fibre experiments, i was thinking “it would be nice if…” and wow, my wishes seem all to come true in the new version ! great, i am very excited to try out the new hair :slight_smile: it looks amazingly simple to use, and get results as wished :slight_smile: … only, :confused: quite a time to wait, til we can test it :wink: :lol:

ok…SSS + HAIR in Zbrush…everything all i wanted…this is absolutely amazing… this …sounds so fanboy like but…i am… amazed…cant…speak… :D:D

But fiber brush is not my favorite.
Hair I make in Cinema 4D and I love the feature to render in a seperate pass.
And I love the dynamic in animating :wink:

I hope at more little changen in Zbrush.
Like:

  • add my own exists folder in Lightbox as Shortcut
  • www search in LightBox
  • easier export alpha maps each material for a object with more than one material like this (http://www.digitaltutors.com/11/training.php?vid=12414&autoplay=1<- Thanks to DigitalTutors for this nice free Tutorial)
  • mouse scroll wheel to zoom. Wacom Zoom Strip to zoom
  • maybe ZSphere export to joints in GoZ, or export as fbx or other format which can save bones / joint

I know, pixologic will bring us much new innovative features that I never thinking bevore !!!

Waw superb… And you can convert that into polymesh, thats really usefull…
