 I’m watching one episode a day. Yes, I know, it requires an iron will.

Reserve the iron will - you will need it to return back to reality your Grace.

One episode a day , that’s how it starts …

Hahaha, you’ve consulted your crystal ball, haven’t you?

A new scene created in ZBrush 2.5D, a working method not too dissimilar to navigating at the edge of the world. The use of multiple planes on 7 layers somehow seems apt.

My eyes having gone blurry I call it finished.

Beautiful. If feels like a mediaeval engraving, predicting the end of the world.

So beautiful and peaceful! Epic!

I believe that I have to steal your idea! I’m looking for a long time a way to make a picture to the song ā€œSailing ships from heavenā€ by Katie Melua.

And that has to go in this direction, for sure!

Ciao,
TM

Too bad we do not know to express myself in English, because I would say wonderful things:confused:small_orange_diamond:roll_eyes:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I’m always excited to see your newest work, or for that matter, when I make my regular pilgrimage back through the history of your posts. So again, WOW, you
always leave me wanting more and not just a little envious of your particular imagination.

I think this may say more about me than anything else, but I can’t help but see Mickey Mouse back there in the shadows.

 Haha, the Fantasia incarnation of Mickey Mouse, indeed!

Metin , many thanks for dropping by Your Grace, much appreciated.

Ronald from the Chrelythiumn System , thank you for your kind words. The fact that it put you in mind of music, all the better.
Steal you say ? !! I shall support your compulsion and look away

PFC666 - Bless you that’s very kind and always appreciated.

Jon - Thank very much, lovely to see your new posts here. Now you mention it I can see Mickey too  Staring until the patterns on the curtains come alive in to a myriad of little scenes or watching the dust and microscopic world moving across my eyeballs I still list as hobbies

Metin - look again you will see Steamboat , possibly Willie and I dread to think what else.

 Boozy’s subliminal Disney commerce.

Here be facial manifestations of a condition of self pity
The writing on the tree reads, ā€œShag Me Notā€.

Metin and Rasmus, droll Dendrological punning Gentlemen. I like it!!

I really like the distinctiveness of your style. I wouldn’t know an artist I could compare you with, which is absolutely meant as a compliment.

Thanks Metin and good morning to you Sir.

I found this little jpeg of a piece created from way back when i.e uploaded to this very forum on a 56k modem many moons ago.

duckgrad2.jpeg

I’m guessing it was done in ZBrush2 but maybe V1 I cannot rightly remember.
As I do remember it was one of the first pieces where I knuckled down and created something a little more finished. It ended up being printed in a Japanese design magazine.

It’s been lovely to find this picture because I can remember being really excited that I could use material settings to look like watercolor paper surfaces. I’m guessing looking at it now there’s also gradient tints with a drag-rectangle stroke , drop shadow tricks , the ducks I guess were planar mapped on to a mesh created from an alpha. What I can see is the essence of my work beginning in this little jpeg.

Just like the ducks I keep coming back to the beginning it seems.

Love it. It’s more colorful than your newer work, but already original and distinctive.

And a good morning back to you and the other readers.

I actually still remember when you first posted Duck a l’Orange. I couldn’t tell you anymore which version it was either. 1.55b, maybe?

Duck a l’orange , love it my friend .
It reminds me of the old carnival games
where you shoot the ducks as they go
around .
great mix of imagery .
