Glad I didn´t miss another update from you, Etcher.
Just wanted to let you know: I´m back – now you can start posting a new update ASAP. Just kidding.
I´ll wait. I´m sure it´ll worth it.
Great thread etcher, love your sculpts. lovely work on the helmet. I’m gonna be checking back here for sure!
Cheers, M
KillahPriest: Thanks man! Glad u appreciate !
scottleroc: Scott, thanks for the awesome comment! On my background: nothin’ spectacular there… just like you, research and exercise - ZBrush seems to be the right tool for me to bring it all out. Always had a big interest in all things art-related. Thanks man! !
Moni-Poroni: glad you’re back. I’ll try to get an update out this weekend. Maybe just a small one, but I’ll try! !
Maxim_fleury: hey Maxim, thanks for checkin’ out my worx! Glad u like! !

!
Hi girls & guys!
Long overdue – a small update … still no sculpting… .
Way too much work at home and daytime job. It won’t get any better any time soon. I’m feeling pretty bad about not being able to work faster and post more comments on the great stuff that’s being posted on ZBC as much as I’d like to. Hope it’ll get better when the dust settles in a few months.
If it weren’t for ZBC, there probably wouldn’t be an AXL… . So, thanks again for your ongoing support.
!
We’ll see what the future brings….
Anyways, here goes: AXL_WIP_Post_004

Trying to find the time for the next update… .
I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone so methodical about they’re project! Can’t wait for the sculpting
Etcher – what can I say…what should I say?
It´s an awesome update and I love the way you did it!
So many infos, details, amazing sketches, unique presentation PLUS the fact you´re a very talented artist!
You´re an Entertainer!
HaHa. I always save my “non-topo” meshes for creating clothing later on.
Yes this is very entertaining! And now the story is unfolding. I would love to see some darkness in this too as you mentioned
When a character is alive you can’t do anything but wait to see a little mor about his life… excellent work here
Stunning methodic… can I ask is all this going towards some form of retail DVD tutorial book in some form?
i cant stop admiring ur stuf and the way u work on it is truly baaushshsshshshshshshshshshhs(thats my head blowing)…

Love the sketches - very cool stuff :D
Etcher great work & inspiring, waiting for the next updates:)
Intervain: quote:” I don’t believe I’ve ever seen anyone so methodical about they’re project!” Well, I guess I’m approaching this so methodical because I’m really studying ZBrush and try to build up a good workflow by leaning on the great stuff that’s being posted on ZBC. Also, I hope that by posting my workflow, I can give something back to all ZBC members who gladly share so much of their techniques. But finding the time to sculpt is so hard… . But, Magdalena, a big thank you for –once again- taking the time to comment. So now, I will have to start the cloth sculpt!!!
Moni-Poroni: Monja, thanks for the great comment! Hihi… me, entertainer… no no: me, sitting quietly in a corner, scribbling, drawing, sculpting… . You keep me goin… .
Jaystein777: Yep, you see how new I am to all this stuff, I thought it was such a great idea that I filled an entire sketchbook page with it… . And you knew this all along! Thanks for stopping by man!
Captain Sensible: So glad u like. And, rest assured: the Darkness is coming – screaming, violence,blood-… . Thanks the omment Chris! !
ISK-86: You are so right man! I always feel the same way when I look at your works: somehow there’s always a backstory involved –great! Rest assured, you will see a lot more about his life!
AgentEnigma: Thanks for the great comment! Quote:” is all this going towards some form of retail DVD tutorial book in some form?” Hey, that’s a nice compliment! Think, first, I’ll have to get a lot better though. So, right now the only place in the world you’re gonna’ find these pages published is ZBC! Comments like yours keep me motivated!
Neozerahan: hey Zain, you OK man? Didn’t know my drawings whe’re gonna’ have that effect on your head… . Glad U like it, workin’ on the updates!
Ville: hi Daniel! Thanks for the awesome comment man! I only have one thing to say: MakoEnergyReactor Rocks!!! Thank you for taking the time to drop me a line!
Yona: so glad you liked the BG stuff – something tells me you know what you’re talking about… . Colors? Ow man… quick color tests … . That’s gonna’ be another disaster… .
FoOD: Hey man, very pleased you like the sketches – style is so different from what you’re doing. Again, a big thank you for leaving me a comment-so motivating!!! !
Karthik.Al: thank you so much. It’s all new to me, but I’m glad you think I’m doing ok so far! Working hard on the updates! Lookin’ forward to your updates too! !
Thank you all so much for the support!
!

This is brilliant! I love seeing the workflow, especially with the illustrations (you’re very talented, by the way.) This would make for a great chapter in a tutorial book. 5 stars from me!
I think you just replace the ATT with ATN in the image link. Not ATTN.
quote : “Colors? Ow man… quick color tests … . That’s gonna’ be another disaster…”
are you kidding me? i’m sure that you’re able to do somthing nice!!! i’m gonna put pressure on you till i’ll have my color test!!
Maybe you can begin with a black and white (with grey levels) ambiance?
