Hey guys, I haven’t been posting the updates on the second part of the double action brushes tutorial here, but is ready now!

It’s a quick video tutorial showing you some modifiers you can tweak for your custom brushes, including a new resources pack with 10 of my custom brushes (and update to the “bumpy skin” I share with PART 1).

Here is a Keyshot render of “Franky”, a sketch I did to test the effects of the new brushes:

here is a link to the new tutorial: PART 2

and in case you missed the first part, here it is: PART 1

I hope you guys like it and find the tutorial useful! Let me know what you think.

Looks great! I dig the skin texture.

Hi Pablo.
I just watched your detailing timelapse. Very cool and super inspiring. Hopefully I’ll get a chance to try out your brushes soon.
Thanks for sharing.

Just a quick update… here is the final render of the Franky sketch with textures.

Your website may I say - getting ever more fabulous.

So that’s what the Trails feature of Brush modifiers does - aha!!
Such great brushes - really enjoyed this latest video .

I’ve been fiddling of late with brush controls trying to find the perfect filling brush that fills/ floods depressions and smooths over form but doesn’t leave any outer edges that need smoothed.
The clay brush at low zintensity seems a good starting point. Wonder if you would have any suggestions at what other brush features to look at to perfect such an action?

Yours etc,
Boozy
